Theme My Login: WordPress Plugin to Customize Login and Logout link

ShoutMeLoud is one of the popular revenue sharing and multi-author blog. And I have already shared how to create a revenue sharing site, though to make sure readers and contributor get easy access to dashboard, you might notice that I have added a login and profile box on the sidebar at this moment.

Here I’m talking about another WordPress plugin call Theme My login which is very useful for WordPress blog running multi-author blog or which allow guest posting directly from the dashboard. This plugin gives a custom login page which looks exactly same as your blog theme. Basically by using shortcode, this plugin adds login and logout link on a page of your blog, and you can direct user to that page in order to login and update profile. This is very useful for a blog, which is getting guest post from people who are not use to WordPress platform and they won’t get confused seeing WordPress dashboard to create profile.

Theme my login plugin comes with many options like adding login and logout link widget on WordPress sidebar, let user sign up from sidebar which will ensure more registration.

Here are couple of screenshots of this plugin settings:

Once you have install and activated the plugin, you can quickly go to widgets and drag and drop Theme my login widgets, to add login and logout box on your blog sidebar.

You can also integrate the shortcode into your Join guest author page information, as this will help in quick sign up or login. You can see it live as an example on Join ShoutMeLoud page. If you are using Thesis theme, you can configure your page to display without sidebar, which will be a better experience for your users.

Personally, I found this plugin very helpful and you can download it from official plugin repo.

In case, if you are running multi-author WordPress blog, here are some posts from past which will help you to make your blog better:
