ShoutMeLoud June 2015 Traffic Report

Howdy Shouter,

With 30th June, we finished half year, and we are left with only six months before we can make 2015 a remarkable year of your life.

For ShoutMeLoud & me, these 6 months have been quite productive, and here are few highlights:

Now, the next six months are going to be crucial as blogging is booming, and this is the time for every blogger to be super-active & make their blog reach new heights.

Of course, as a part of our transparent work culture, I will be sharing whatever new stuff I will be doing here at ShoutMeLoud & ShoutDreams network.

For now, this is the time when I share Monthly Income & traffic report.

If you are a new reader, you should read this to learn why I share these reports.

If you are a regular reader, you know that you are going to discover new traffic driving tips,  new methods of making money, & many unique tips to grow your blog to the next level. So let’s get on with our monthly transparency report, and let’s start with last month traffic.

June 2015 Blog traffic report:

Last month my interview was published on YourStory.com, that you can read here. That story drove a significant amount of traffic over the time, and ShoutMeLoud got 35K page views on a day, which is the maximum for a day so far.

Here are the monthly traffic stats from Google Analytics dashboard:

  • PageViews: 675,365
  • Session: 445,257

This month ShoutMeLoud received 80K more page-views than the last month. I have made the design change on the final day of June, so it would be interesting to see, how the new design will affect Avg. session duration, Pages/session & bounce rate in coming days. As you can see, 80% of ShoutMeLoud traffic is organic, and this couldn’t have happened without the rock-solid SEO plan & high-quality content.

For the next two months, I’m not focusing on revenue & my focus is to make the ShoutMeLoud UI + UX better. Moreover, I would be focusing more on ShoutMeHindi, as I’m overwhelmed with the response.

A message to Shouters: ShoutMeLoud 2.0

To the regular readers,

A design change is a big thing, and it took me three years to make this major change. In my announcement post, I will share why I moved from Blue to red color, and what all new changes we have made in ShoutMeLoud 2.0

This is a strategical move, and the idea is to give a better experience to you. You might feel lost at the beginning because a lot of things has changed, but one thing that remains the same is high-quality content. You may need to spend another 10-15 minutes to get used to the new interface, and of course, I will be sharing a post in the coming days.

Right now we are in the process of making all those tiny changes that are being suggested by readers. If you want to share your feedback & have suggestions, you can post it on this thread at ShoutMeLoud forum. If you have new ideas, you can mail me directly at [email protected]

Note: ShoutMeLoud iOS app user have one thing to rejoice & that is, the new version will be comment enabled. 🙂

With that, I would like to ask your views & opinion on design in the comment section below. Do let me know how was your June earning & traffic report?

      I don’t use AdSense here at ShoutMeLoud. This AdSense earning is from all my blog including shoutmetech, cydiaguide & few others.

    Hi Harsh, bravo for a mission well accomplished. Not too many affiliates can brag about that kind success! But what I am wondering is with all that new traffic are you still on shared hosting? I know most hostings advertise “unlimited” which is not 100% true so after how many visitors to you think they may kick you out of the share plan? Please let me know. Thanks

    1. Harsh Agrawal

      @William
      I’m currently hosted on managed WordPress hosting. At this moment, using @Kinsta and they are pretty awesome.

    1. Harsh Agrawal

      @Rohith
      You can sale eBook related to getting placement, interview tips or even add a course. You can become an affiliate to Udemy & see if any relevant course is there, that you can promote.

  14. Arbaz Khan

    Hey Harsh,
    First of all, congratulations on earning 1 million INR income last month. I hope that the amount with be doubled in the coming months.
    And the new design of your blog looks awesome. The color combination and the text styles both compliment each other and give a much more professional look to Shoutmeloud. I personally thing that 2.0 design is much, much better than the previous one.

    1. Harsh Agrawal

      Thanks @Arbaz for your feedback, and knowing you are a regular reader, it matters a lot. 🙂

  15. Sreejesh

    Awesome journey Harsh. The new design is cool and minimalistic, gives a fresh feel. I think this is SML 3.0.
    I think it’s time for you to publish blogging courses on Coursera or Udemy like online course portals.
    You bring a lot of respect to blogging in India. Keep up bro!

    1. Harsh Agrawal

      @Sreejesh
      Thanks for your feedback, and for now let’s keep it ShoutMeLoud 2.0
      We will save something better for SML3.0 🙂

      I hear your idea, and that is something which is on my mind for long. Let’s see…

  16. SHEKHAR S

    Congrats @HA,

    The blogger must learn a bombarding lesson from this series of yours, who says Blogging is only waste of time, Quality and evergreen content always pays is long run, that quite evident.

    Congrats to you, and Good luck to all those who are attached to this blog to Dream and do big,….. (including Me..)
    Happy Blogging

  17. suryak

    Congos Harsh… I got very much disappointed last month because I was in an expectation that you would reach a net profit of $ 15000 but it went in an opposite direction.

    I am very happy seeing this month’s expense report as it has taken you almost to your target. Keep going bro.. I wish you all the luck for reaching there.. & even of course for $ 20,000 the next big milestone.

    Finally, the new website design is awesome & very Rich indeed competing with the richness of your content bro.

    1. Harsh Agrawal

      Thanks @Suryak 🙂

      Even I’m happy with this month revenue, but I know it would keep fluctuating. I’m investing money on many things including marketing, product development & few more things. The important thing here is, I’m having fun while learning something new & making money. As long as all these happens at the same time, I will stay content.

  18. Sneha

  19. Ofosu Ainyam

    Wow!!! So it’s possible to make this amount of money in blogging? I’m so amazed. Right now my focus is on adsense because I wanna make money on autopilot, cuz of college.

    Thanks for this post Harsh.

    1. Harsh Agrawal

      @Ofosu
      My advice for you is to focus also on affiliate marketing. Focus on evergreen content/niche, and monetize it with AdSense & Affiliate.

      1. Pankaj

        Hey Harsh,

        I have been a frequent visitor to your blog and have been watching over the developments in terms of shoutmeloud design changes and also monitoring your earning reports closely. I want to focus more on affiliate marketing which also is a major chunk of your overall earning per month but in none of the reports i was able to find a detailed analysis of your affiliate earning. I went through with a few of your other posts where you highlight the most profitable niches but it would be great if you could detail out your affiliate earnings sources

        Thanks,
        Pankaj

        1. Harsh Agrawal

          @Pankaj
          I actually don’t share 100% breakdown of affiliate programs, as it affected ShoutMeLoud earning a lot in the past. Unlike you & other readers, there are people who are looking for short-cut, and instead of working on the idea, they copy everything. So I’m keeping this 10% part for my membership program subscribers.

  20. Himanshu Gupta

    Harsh,
    I wanted to know how you make those header images which you put in the starting of your post .They look gorgeous.

    1. Harsh Agrawal

      @Himanshu
      That’s created by Sharat.nik. He uses Photoshop & few free tools. You can ask him to do a video tutorial on the same. He is reachable at [email protected]

    2. Aatish

      You can use A free tool name Canva.com I think SML also using canva sometimes

      1. Harsh Agrawal

        I use Canva for few times, and these images are being created by @Sharatnik using Fireworks on his Mac.
