You can run affiliate marketing even on your free blog but you will not get the same desired results as you will get when you migrate to self hosted WordPress. My suggestion is to migrate to WordPress.org and then start affiliate marketing.

I just signed up for the Amazon Affiliate program, got a domain name and WordPress.org site, and now need to design my online store where I will post Amazon products (not my own). NOTE – I’m not just doing a blog with links to products; I’m creating a store with pictures of products where purchases will be completed through Amazon. Before reading your post here, I did a lot of research and thought WooCommerce plus the WooCommerce Amazon Affiliate plug-in was the way to go. Now I have added the WooCommerce plug-in, but I cannot find the WooCommerce Amazon Affiliate plug-in. Has it been discontinued? Or is it the same thing as WooZone? WooZone Light has gotten some terrible reviews from other users. Here are my questions: 1) Is there an alternative to the WooZone Light plugin that will work with WooCommerce? 2) Could I use EasyAzon along with WooCommerce? 3) Or should I get rid of the WooCommerce plug in and just use EasyAzon?

I was using EazyAzon, but then found a great alternative – Geni.us. I think it’s smoother .
WP Affiliate website says it hasn’t been updated since 2008 – – I doubt it works with current versions of WP.
I would suggest Convergence (Commission Junction) or JVZoo.
However CJ / Convergence never did get back to me about questions before signing up (over one month now and several emails) and JV Zoo I think I am up to like 5 emails to them – and the two back have been non-answers. Questions related to setting up the chain payments through PayPal – which should be a pretty basic question. Still waiting for support – – and it’s been half-way through the third week.
Right now i am looking for affiliate management plugin for my own site to run affiliate program of my own site. Do you know any such plugin. Waiting for your response harsh.
