It’s been almost 5 months that I have not been published my income report but after a quality conversation on our Facebook fan page, I decided to bring back monthly income report back.
Most of the bloggers who asked me to start publishing income report as they find it motivating and work as a boost to make money online. I had no reason to deny them as this was the only reason I started publishing my monthly income report.
What’s this monthly income report?
As a professional blogger 100% of my time goes to writing article & learning new things every day. All my income comes from various ads & affiliate marketing.
This income report shows how anyone can make money by working online. Interesting fact is if you will see my Income report archive, you will realize how income grew over the time.
My first income report was published on Feb 2009 when I made $434. It’s good to see in two years time, the progress is consistent and my income report number is increasing.

March 2011 Income Report:
- Google Adsense: $1450
- Direct Ad Sales: $1300
- BuysellAds: $910
- Aff. Marketing: $3200
- Services: $1450
- Infolinks: $216
- Technorati: $97
- Domain sales: $19

I might have missed out few aff. Programs which have joined so we are close to $9000 for this month. My personal goal for this month is $10000. Though it’s not hard to achieve but probably I need to work some extra time for achieve that goal.
Not to forget from this earning, I pay almost $150 month for hosting and couple of premium services like premium plugins. Also I pay around $1500/month to paid authors and people who work for my company.

I can see an increase in your Adsense income.
Can you propose how to get more visitors to our blog. I get only 100K impressions but you get 600K impressions.
I researched a lot but couldn’t find anywhere that how to increase lots of visitors.
Also I wanna know from your experience that after submitting a post what steps you perform on that post? I can predict following steps
1. Posting comments on other commentluv enabled blogs(to attract visitors)
2. Submit Articles with backlinks to this posts
3. Submit post url to various social networking sites.
4. Ping various blogs like Technorati
5. Try to submit this URL on various forums with keywords
I know only these steps. What all methods you use please share Harsh. This would be beneficial for growth of bloggers like me.
I know that just only posting a post wont bring lots of visitors. There must be lot of steps must be followed after posting post.

Just wanted to know from you & others based on your experience – How much time is generally taken from the day you launch a blog and the day you start getting reasonable good amount of visitors and ofcourse, earnings. I know, it would largely depends upon many other factors – like content quality etc etc, but still, may be there is something based on your exprience which you may like to highlight. For example, when we launch a blog and suppose, after 1 month, 2 months, 3 months and 6 months, 1 year – what should be our realistic expectations in terms of visitors/traffic/clicks/earnings to determine if we should carry on with the blog or not?
Others may also comment on this please.

I targeted $1000 in March, hope I can achieve it end of 31st March.
Try Contextweb CPM, you can make good money with same traffic. I’m making good money from it and few tips are available in my Blog.

I am more interested to know about the affilliate earning source. it is been noted every where that what you earn from adsense is just the half of your potential. I mean double we can earn from affillate sales. but challenge is to find out the right one. So Harsa is it that hostgator and other hosting services are your affilate sales ?

First of all congrats Harsh! But one thing seems to be confusing for me. Your adsense for content does not show any clicks. So, does it mean you made $1,407.46 with just page impressions? Or did you black out the number of clicks that your site got?
Please throw some light on this.
