Welcome to the first blog income & traffic report of 2016. This is a part of ShoutMeLoud transparent culture & if you wish to know why I share such exclusive details, you should read this to understand our culture.
It’s been a while that I have published our transparency report & it’s only because I was busy learning more than making money. In the past two months, I have traveled a lot & in the quest to unlearn & learn again.
Attended Affiliate marketing summit West 2016:
Last month I went for my first U.S.A. trip to attend Affiliate marketing summit in Las Vegas.
I also had a chance to meet & spend quality times with many pro-bloggers such as Syed Balkhi, Zac Johnson to name a few. Along with that, I met many of my favorite companies that I have been working & over-all going to Affiliate marketing summit west 2016 was a great experience.
Later on, I also went to Mountain view to meet folks over at Google & Coursera. (Check out Google HQ album on Facebook here). Overall, those 20 days were full of lot of learning & new experience. You can browse many of the pics on my Instagram account.
Due to travel schedule, you might have noticed slow posting here at ShoutMeLoud, but as I made it clear last year, you will be seeing only quality posting over quantity here at SML.
How Not to Write Meaningless Blog Posts For The Success of your Blog
My post on Affiliate Summit West 2016 is pending which I will be publishing soon & I also got to know about many new companies, online tools which you will be hearing from me in the coming days. For now, let’s look at how posting less affected ShoutMeLoud traffic.
ShoutMeLoud January 2016 blog traffic report:
For the newcomers, ShoutMeLoud is more than just a blog. We have a dedicated videos section, hot WordPress discount section to start with & a forum for bloggers. If I compare this report to the last known September 2015 report, I see a huge increase in sessions & page views. Even our bounce rate has dropped by 4% which is a considerable number. We are about to hit 1.5 million page views a month which is our all-time best.

Wow, first time I’ve seen a blog or any web-site actually post its earnings – really impressive and thanks for sharing. New to blogging and reading reports and guides at the moment – many say that there is big money to be made from using AdSense. However, note that the proportion of income from AdSense is relatively small. Worry whether doing AdSense is a good thing or not. What do you think?

Its Good to see the money flowing in. However, in the breakup, you have shown income from Google AdSense as $525.67. I am a lame man in the field of internet earnings and hence have a doubt, which I think you will clarify. My question is, I do not see any google ads on your SML blog neither in your micro-ninche site Cydiaguide.com as well. So, from where did you earn this $525.97. Hope you will throw some light on this.

Harsh you are the first person in world, whose disclose your Complete Income report with all public. Today most of bloggers are earning from Affiliates, Adsense, direct ads and other online marketing tools. but those are not show the real income. and i am sure after read your blog and see your report, most of people are trying to earn online. But want to say to all bloggers, online earning is not easy, if you Do work hard and proper then you earn money for long term. and blogging is not short term Income Process. So In my last word i want to say to my all bloggers friends. If you Learn online, You can earn Online.

Are you kidding me? the first person? there are a lot of bloggers out there who published their income each month and I firmly believe that Harsh wasn’t the first person who shares his income transparently, but someone else out there. You can ask Harsh where he’d got this idea of sharing income reports from anyway.
If you want to look at excited income per month by bloggers, you can go to smartpassiveincome.com blog. He earned more than 100,000 every month. Or you can visit eofire.com which earned more than roughly 200,000 every month. and for the matter of fact, they did share their income not to mention strategy to having it in more detailed ways.
oh man! seriously 11 lakhs from blogging. I also have a blog about apple hardware and software but i have not earned even a single penny from it. I hope that after reading your blog and following the tips you give, i would be able to make some money.
