How To Receive Commission Junction Affiliate Payment via Payoneer

When it comes to receiving affiliates & advertising income from foreign countries, we often have limited options.

Especially if the only option is to receive payment via paper check. I’m sure you are aware of the problems associated with that.

Major issues like undelivered mail significantly delay the payment process, while companies need to reissue you a new check and then re-send it. This is one problem most AdSense publishers faced until Google recently introduced the EFT payment option.

Today’s post is regarding Commission Junction, one of the more popular affiliate marketplaces (along with Awin, ShareASale & Partnerstack). Recently I configured my Commission Junction account to receive payment using the Payoneer service.

I have written about Payoneer here & here. It’s a free online service that will let you receive payment from foreign countries.

In this tutorial, I will show you how to configure your Commission Junction account to receive payment using Payoneer.

(If you are stuck in between, feel free to ask a question in the comment section below.)

Get your U.S.A. bank routing number from Payoneer:

Unlike PayPal, Payoneer offers unique ways to receive payment from foreign companies.

When you create a free account on Payoneer, you get a U.S.A. bank routing number & E.U. bank routing number. In this case, I have used my U.S.A. payment service information & companies can send payment to my U.S.A. bank routing number (which is powered by Payoneer).

2022 Update: Payoneer now offers local bank accounts in eight countries.

Payoneer transfers the money to my linked Indian bank account within 24 hours.  The process is simple & once you have configured it, you will keep receiving payment without the need for manual intervention.

Here is what you need to do:

  • Save

If this is your first time, you need to select the option “Request accounts” to create your US bank account.

Note: Your account need to be verified in order to use this feature.

In my case, I have done this already, and my screen looks like this:

  • Save

Clicking on “view details” would show all the detail about your US bank account. This is the detail you need to add into your marketplace or give it to the client to get paid.

  • Save
  • This is what you need to fill out at the Commission Junction payment page to start receiving your CJ Affiliate commission.

Update Payment Information at Commission Junction:

Now that you have gotten your “US Payment Service” information via Payoneer, open CJ.com in a new tab & log in to your account.

Navigate to the Account > Administrative Settings tab to update your payment and/or tax information.

Refer to the below screenshot & fill out the bank details that you have received from Payoneer:

  • Save

For many countries, including India, Australia, France, Singapore, Mexico & many others, Commission Junction offers a direct bank deposit option. You can find that list of countries here.

For many other countries like Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, where direct bank deposit is not available, Payoneer works as an excellent way to receive payment without any issues.

For affiliates, Commission Junction is an old & reliable marketplace to get affiliate offers from top-notch companies.

Greetings Harsh. From where are you using your Payoneer account? Are you using it outside the U.S.? Is it safe? Sorry for asking, I am quite new to this. Thank you.

Hi Harsh, I have set the currency to inr and I don’t know what is routing no for ICICI Bank, India and given SWIFT Code :ICICINBBNRI for routing no in cj payment details. I do have a payoneer account but i dont know how to link my indian bank account to payoneer.

      Hello Praveen,

ICICI Bank’s Swift Code will not work in CJ to get payments. I have tried same on Jan 2018 but ACH payment rejected by CJ.

According to Vikas R. Srivastava at ShoutMeLoud Forum (https://ask.shoutmeloud.com/t/doubt-regarding-cj-direct-deposit-to-icici-bank-india/11083), you can also use IFSC NEFT Code as a Routing number but I will advise you adopt the above method to receive payment via Payoneer because I only trust Harsh.

The above tutorial is pretty simple. Just follow to get CJ payments smoothly.

    Hi
I want to open an account with payoneer. But before that i want to open a bank account( I already have one but i want to go for another one for online transaction purposes). So my question is that which
    1) Indian bank works best with payoneer
    2) Do i need to have credit/debit cardor only Bank account Number to open account on payoneer and receive money through online transaction.

    Please clarify my doubts…

    1. Harsh Agrawal

      Hey Vijay,

You can go with any bank account. There is no advantage of using one over another in terms of Payoneer. No, you do not need to add your debit or credit card to open account on Payoneer.

Thanks Harsh for sharing it 🙂

I already heard somewhere that we can receive amazon (us) affiliate payment via payoneer for Indian users. Now going to give it a try for both amazon as well as Cj

    Hey Harsh,

If we use our US routing to receive funds, do we have to pay in the US for that? How to update the CJ tax information in such case??? Kindly help us out with this query. I think most of us need to know this.

    Hey Harsh,

Have you tried Payoneer for getting Imapct Radius payment?

If yes, it would be awesome if you write post on it.

Glad to know that CJ works with Payoneer. Thanks for sharing.

Honestly, I must say Payoneer is a boon for me. Our central bank never allows any international transactions, and I can only receive my online income via swift transfer.
Yes, I do have a MasterCard, but it’s useless I cannot use it to make any online purchase, and now I am using Payoneer to make my every online transaction.
A salute to Payoneer and You Harsh for writing this informative post
    Regards,
    Tirtha

    Hi Harsh,

From last few months i see Payoneer is becoming very famous day by day and also the reviews looks very good. I think i must also give a try to this. I hope they also have less transaction charges as compared to Paypal, Can you provide some comparison about the this point as well..

  12. Salek Ahmed

I’m from BD where paypal is not supported. Payoneer is one and only option for us. Glad to know that CJ supported Payoneer

  13. Fouad
