A great year has passed by and now it’s time to start a fresh and make money from your blog. Every one need to change their strategy of making money online and bring some new creative ideas to make money online in 2010.
The first thing to make money online in new year is remove the low performing ads and money making method.
If you are using contextual advertisement and not making enough that ways, you should try moving to direct advertisement or affiliate advertisement.
Affiliate Advertisement :
Affiliate advertisement is one of the best way to make money , since a single sale will make 10-100$ for you. I have already covered few topics on affiliate marketing like
Referral Income :
Most of advertisement program like Chitika, infolinks and many others have pay per referral program. Depend on advertisement program you are using, you can look for referral program and refer your readers to that program. This will quickly add some quick dollar in your pocket. Make sure refer to that programs only which work.
Direct Advertisement :
No doubt adsense is best advertisement program for bloggers but again it has some limitations like you will not get paid 100% from advertisers and adsense keep a great cut in between. If you manage to grab direct advertisements , replace adsense with direct advertisements. You can try buysellads for direct advertisements. For me it’s most performing advertisement program. You should also have a detailed advertisement page for your blog.
Paid reviews :
Paid reviews are again a great way to boost your monthly income report. You can quickly make anything above 50$ for a small review post. Though there are few things which you need to take care before reviewing a product. You can read about it here :
Services :
Start running your own set of services. Depending on what are you good at, like you can start content writing services, start logo creation services and so on. For example see my Service page where I run lots of Wordpress and blogging related services like :

I was looking for the Affiliate Marketing Dos and I think I found now from this post which leads to a special post related to the same topic. I am been displaying Adsense so far and now wish to explore to Affiliate Marketing as well.

More over small Note : Don’t try to use all 3 ad units, Instead use 1 or 2 ad units along with link units..That will perform better….
Hmm.. now using 2 Ad units but no link unit. Let me give link unit a try and see what happens

That’s right Amal.. I will rather say, for any kind of online income you need to have an audience for your blog. Bigger the audience is better your earning will be.
I want to try my luck with affiliates starting this month end.. have to work on the blog theme and layout.. have u checked blogussion’s thesis theme skin.. what do u feel abt it?? should i go for that.. what do u say..??

The one method that I earned most from in 2009 was paid text links via Text-Link-Ads. In 2010 I’m hoping to earn a lot more from affiliate marketing, especially since I’m not using Text-Link-Ads anymore

Jens I have a diff. opinion with Paid text links, since Google hate Paid text link, I never promote it infront of my readers and never use it. I have seen people losing page rank because of it. Though if you using it successfully without hurting your page rank, thats great
Yes. That’s why I’m not using paid text links anymore. I was earning apx $400 from it, but then my PR dropped from 4 to 0

I’m not sure if it’s all because of paid text links, but that’s the only explanation I can think of.
I would add that creating a product might be something to consider if you don’t have the readership to support adsense and affiliate marketing, yet. Ebooks seem to be a popular route and can help to set you apart from some of the other blogs out there.
I have tried affiliate marketing but can not success, so now my only blog income source is adsense and sell advertisement.
Affiliate marketing is the best way to earn money easily with your blog but it needs more audience for your blog once you have it you can make a good amount of money. Paid reviews are also very useful.

Hey Same issue is with Pakistan users.. try some alternative which allow online transaction. I’m not sure but you can also try Xoom.
Well organised and thought out post – I’m currently with Adsesne but intent to expand my horizons in 2010 and get into affiliate marketing, then develop my own products.
