To be very honest it’s not possible to be active everywhere but I will suggest giving a visit to every forum and selecting 3-4 forums of your choice according to your niche and staying active. Add value to people’s posts by commenting. Even I’m active on a few of them like Digital point and I try to help as many people as I can and seek help when I need it.
Of all these above dofollow forums, I’m active on a few of internet marketing forums (WarriorForum, V7nForum, and Digital point forum).
I suggest you to keep checking these forums for the Do-follow attribute because sometimes webmasters remove the do-follow attribute because of spamming.

For building links, nofollow forums are not of much help. You can look at other techniques such as guest posting, broken backlink building.

I have posted to some of them and they really are very good. Before posting i have checked their DA and PA from moz and they are really high as compared to any other lists. I always check DA and PA before posting. I find this good habit hope you also do the same.

What about Quora and Yahoo answers bro?
I don’t really know much about Yahoo Answers, but Quora sure is very effective. I read on Shoutmeloud only. Reading that article, I got to realize How useful Quora is for Driving Quality Traffic to a Blog or Website. It’s just that people sometimes go onto using it in the wrong ways.
Also, Quora doesn’t give Do Follow Links.

The forum list presented here are excellent, and the forums are also high authority, but I am not too sure if it’s still a safer alternative for SEO practices, regarding Google algorithms and guidelines.
