Once you have signed up for the Hostgator Affiliate program via ImpactRadius, it would take about 3-4 days before they will approve your application.

You can get paid by check, ACH, or PayPal. For easy and quick payment, I would suggest using ACH or Paypal.

Unlimited affiliate income

The best thing about the Hostgator affiliate program is the fact that they pay according to the number of referrals received. For example, based on the number of people you refer to Hostgator, you will be earning as follows:

  • 9 * $75: $675
  • 11* $100: $1100
  • 21 *$125: $2625

So far, I have not faced any issues with Hostgator’s affiliate program on ImpactRadius, and I have been successfully running it for a year.     Thanks for the wonderful article Harsh. It means a lot when someone wants to share their “way of making money”. I do have an affiliate with Hostgator. But the affiliate doesn’t do much because when a person gets redirected to Hostgator through my affiliate link, they get to see a coupon code advertised by Hostgator itself. So when checking out they tend to use that coupon code for which we Don’t get commission. How does getting a custom coupon code for my Affiliate link work ?

      For getting a customized coupon code, you need to contact your affiliate manager. You need to tell him the value they will get out of your blog i.e how many users can you give them, how do you intend to promote it etc..

I was thinking that we can create a promo code in start of our affiliate journey with HostGator but now you cleared it that we need 4 to 5 sales to get it. What if we don’t use promocode, then can we earn full commission on our generated sale? Secondly only using banners on our site can generate sales?

    Most important and hardest part is to get people buy the hosting plan through your link. So basically you need to generate traffic (if you already don’t have it), and in order to get traffic, you gotta’ advertise (spend money). There is tough competition out there. Good Luck.

    The impactradius.com has changed the withdrawal method to Electronic fund transfer only. Now I need to enter few details like Swift Code and Routing Code.in. I dont know what I need to add to these fields
    I have an ICICI and SBI bank account.

    I am a member of Hostgator India affiliate program and I have given 15-16 sales to them but so far they didn’t pay my commission , I am waiting for my commission since 3-4 months.     Hi Harsh, I just signed up for the HostGator Affiliate program. My question is on the bank information. What should I fill in the EIN/SSN as I am outside US and I do not have a foreign tax ID ?

      Hey Julius,

      Because you are a Non-US Citizens you need to fill W8BEN tax form. Fill all the details in the form except the EIN and foreign tax id. leave that as blank and submit the form.

        Here’s the issues:
        1.Electronic Tax Document W8BEN
        its compulsory to fill foreign tax id.
        2.Setting up Your Bank Account( Had Left out EIN/SSN)
        One or more validation errors have occurred:
        Please enter a Tax id.
        Please let me know how to solve this issue.
