Blog commenting has always been one of the most lethal weapons for internet marketers to get a backlink, for networking and branding. Now, how many of you hate the fact you have to fill out all the comment box fields like Name, Email, URL everytime you want to add a comment.
At least, I hate this & especially when you are running multiple blogs; it’s more pain.
Well, Disqus and such other 3rd party commenting system are free from this scenario but WordPress default comment form is n’t.
Today, I’m going to share one useful Chrome add-on call “Easy Comment” for active blog commentators to easily (automatic) fill out the comment form.
Easy comment is a useful addon which fills out comment form quickly. In short, when you go to any WordPress blog to comment on, every time you have to input fields like:
- Name
- Web-Address
What Easy comment addon can do for you?
Easy comment Chrome addon let you add one click comment on WordPress blogs. This meant you don’t need to enter your details every time. Just click on easy comment icon on the top bar of Chrome browser. Now, add your details like Name, Email & Website URL.
We have also added the feature of configuring multiple profiles. Using this, you can quickly change your commentator profile. This feature is added to take away the pain of bloggers with multiple blogs.
From next time when ever you are on WordPress blog which has default commenting option, this addon will automatically fill up the details.

First of all tell me the value of backlinks from blog commenting(out of 10). I have heard many times that blog commenting is waste of time (for getting backlink). You are a experienced blogger and know better than anybody else.

Out of 10 I would give it 2. If you are getting links from comment from related sites, it helps a lot. I have seen this in past & also got PR3 for a blog with zero content. Things has changed in recent time but I have my assumption that it still helps. Though, you shouldn’t limit the benefit to just backlinks. Comment is also a great way to build relationships that helps directly-indirectly.
This is quite nice, always had this on the mind to do something about it as this is an issue for the bloggers. What I thought is that you could give your email, and everything will be picked up from your gravatar profile but this is also nice because of the fact that all the details are saved locally, and you can change it anytime you want and switch between profiles. One more nice thing to add would be to have the user configure more than five profiles and if the add-on could handle the blogs that have any other commenting system or their customized commenting system set. But it is great as you said this is the initial release and eager to see more coming in. 🙂 The moment I got the notification on the app, I went ahead and read it. Now all I have to do is the comment, and the rest all three fields are taken care of by default. Awesome man! Cheers!

Roboform is another great plugin from chrome and FF, just enter all your essential details and while commenting just hit a single button and all your fields will be filled.

Thanks for highlighting this browser add-in. I™m always looking for ways to streamline my commenting. I™ve tried using Lastpass for comment form-filling, but this seems like a better solution.
