FlipBoard: Magazine Style Feed reader for iPad

FlipBoard: Magazine Style Feed reader for iPad

When I bought iPad, I had couple of apps in mind which I would be installing from the first day. One of them was Flipboard which I spotted couple of days back on my friend iPad and from that time, I wanted to try this app.

Flipboard makes your reading fun and you can quickly read news from your favorite feeds including Twitter, Facebook and Google reader like a magazine. As name suggest, you will get news in magazine style and to read more news, you have to flip the pages.

Flipboard is also integrated with Google reader, so you won’t miss any news from feeds subscribed from your Google reader account. Flipboard was also selected as iPad app of the year 2010 by Apple.

Apart from adding normal feeds, you can also add any search term on Twitter to monitor it from Flipboard. Though I won’t say it’s as great as Google alert, but still it’s good enough to keep track of your favorite topic from iPad. More over if you believe in ‘Sharing is caring’, Flipboard will let you quickly share any content with one click.

Despite of being one of the most popular iPad app, Flipboard it’s completely free and give you all the reasons to install it on your iPad. Sadly, this app is just for iPad and no love for iPhone users for now.If you are one of those iPad users, whose work consist of lots of reading, this is one such app, you can’t afford to miss on your iPad. You can download Flipboard from official website here.

Do let us know what Feed reader app are you using on your iPad?
