i have a travel business and want to put a calendar on the website to let my clients know what is going on when they are going to be in that area for their vacation. I want them to look by month, then click on the event to bring them to my blog post so ideally it needs to generate the blog post or the blog post generates the calendar. this is new to me so i don’t really know if i am asking the right questions
    thanks

Nice post, but I (and may others) are finding that The Events Calendar produces a lot of soft 404 warning in Google Search Console. The makers of The Events Calendar try to play it down likes it’s no big deal, but I don’t buy that and feel that increased soft 404 warning can in fact affect a site’s SEO. Any time you get messages left & right from Google stating “This can cause a bad experience for your users, who might have been looking for a specific page, but end up elsewhere on your website. This misconfiguration can also prevent Google from showing the correct page in search results.” then you’d be foolish not to take this seriously. So what to do about this? I don’t want to continue using The Events Calendar if it’s causing more harm than good. Can you recommend another plugin that’s more compatible with SEO best practices? I really don’t know which events calendar to use and trust now.

Another established event calendar system that is new to the WordPress community that I really like is the Connect Daily Events Calendar. It includes a resource management system that works to track your resources as you post your events.
