Months back, I talked about the SovrnCommerce ad network, which is one of the best blog monetization techniques in my opinion.
I’m already using Sovrn Commerce on my gadget blog, and in February, I integrated Sovrn Commerce into one of my clients (Izzy), who owns a popular fashion blog in the U.S. If you are new to Sovrn Commerce, you can read my review of Sovrn Commerce.
They also introduced a wrapping tool later on, which will help you to earn money from sharing links.
Moreover, Sovrn Commerce makes it easier for every blogger to earn money from Affiliate marketing without having any knowledge about it. I will quickly explain how this ad network works.
Sovrn Commerce turns outbound links into Affiliate links:
One of the biggest problems being an affiliate marketer is finding the products to promote, enrolling in the affiliate program, and managing the individual affiliate links.
It doesn’t matter if you are using Clickbank, ShareaSale or Cj Affiliate marketplace, in every network you have to get the affiliate link for the individual product, mask it with Lasso plugin or Thirsty Affiliate WordPress plugin, and add it to your blog manually.
Needless to say, this is serious work, and if you are a hobby blogger or part-time blogger, you might not like to spend so much time doing this. Sovrn Commerce is a useful ad network that makes all outbound links on your blog, as affiliate links. The best part about this is, that all links are SEO-friendly, and moreover, it doesn’t hamper user experience at any level. Also, It’s backed up by Google.
Sovrn Commerce has partnered with 1000+ affiliate programs, including Amazon, Apple app store. So, when a user clicks a standard link on your blog, and buys anything from Amazon, the App store, or thousands of other places, you make money from it. I’m not talking about simple money that pays in pennies but about serious money. Moreover, as it is, when your readers click on outbound links, you get nothing. After using Sovrn Commerce, you will be making money if your reader makes a purchase on any of the sites which are partnered with Sovrn Commerce.
When I was doing my research on Sovrn Commerce and Skimlinks, I realizes such ad networks do really well on websites with tons of Amazon links, or fashion blogs. Since Sovrn Commerce is partnered with some of the world’s top fashion store, and you end up making some serious money.
I asked my fashion blogger client to try Sovrn Commerce for a week just to try this. It’s been a month that she has been using Sovrn Commerce on her blog, and so far the performance of Sovrn Commerce is incredible.
Here is the income report of Sovrn Commerce from a Fashion blog (Musingsofamuse):
Here is a breakdown of some of the highest paying merchants in the Fashion niche.
As it is, my client’s blog was not making any money from the outbound link, and after using Sovrn Commerce, another $25.5 K was added to her account. Keep in mind, that this is not the final report, as many merchant reports will be added after certain days. So, the final income from Sovrn Commerce in a month will increase more.
If you are an existing Sovrn Commerce publisher, I would love to know how it is performing for you and in what niche you are using it.

Should you refrain from using Viglink if you put affiliate links to your blog? Can they both go hand in hand together? What I mean to say is, normally if you are adding the affiliate links to your blog the traditional way, but maybe there will be some affiliate programs attached with Viglink that you are not enrolled in. What is the best strategy, using affiliate links traditional way alone or using Viglink alone or using both together?
Thanks a lot for an informative post.
Good revenue generating tips for fashion blogs. I think vigilink will helpful for me to make some extra income. Thank you harsh for this useful info. It is an easy way to make money through outbound links, i will definitely try it.

Try it and share your experience with me. 🙂
Harsh, I have a doubt, if we have any affiliate links on a page along with viglink also then through whom shall we paid both or none? Because I saw once you told that if we update somewhere in viglink about some merchants they won’t count us on those links. But, couldn’t find that can you help me with that once again.
Thanks a lot for such a useful information 🙂
@Surya
Viglink is good for those who don’t want to deal with direct affiliate signup & link placement. If you can (I think you can), then work directly with all the affiliates. I call Viglink as a great advertising tool for part-time blogger who can’t spend too much time or don’t have enough time or energy to signup for an individual program.
Useful information to us. Get incomes from Outbound links, Surely I will try this on blog. thanks harsh.
Hey harsh, superb information yaar. You guys really doing well here and such an inspirational posts. I going to use viglink to my gaming blog. Thanks….
I’ve been using Viglink for about a year now and, although I don’t make a huge amount of money from them, what I love is all I had to do was add the Viglink code to my website and then it’s finished, and I never have to think about it again. They do the rest, and they pay me at the end of every month.
It’s a great way to make some extra money, without any of the worries or hassle of other affiliate networks.
Thanks a lot for sharing this great info about VigiLink “harsh”. I will try vigilink in my blog. I think surely it will help me to earn extra income.
Thanks harsh,
You have truly helped me with this article.. i was looking for some link monetization service for my blog but was unable to find a good one..
I will surely try VigLink now!
Great info about Viglink harsh!!! Sounds like a good source of extra income without much of an effort. Hassle free and simple to start.
Thank for enlightening me!!! Will give it a shot for sure
Nice Post Harsh. Vigilink helps us by displaying affiliate link in our outgoing links. This saves trouble of joining multiple affiliate programs and hassles of linking individual affiliate links and reaching minimum payout for them individually.
Hi, Oliver D. from VigLink here. Thanks for sharing this story, Harsh! It’s always exciting to hear real success stories. We’ve definitely been seeing a lot of success with fashion blogs – and we continue to add amazing commissions from top retailers like Nordstrom and SSENSE.
We just released A Blogger’s Guide to Earning More, a detailed PDF outlining the steps to taking your blog from average earnings to extraordinary earnings. Please download and share! http://vglnk.com/bE
Common harsh ,8k clicks and only 241$ which leaves around 0.03$ per click.Do you want to leave visitors from your website for few cents of clicks????
@Imran
Viglink is not infolinks…. Your visitors are as it clicking on links that you added in your article. For example, when you write about 5 costliest iPhone apps, you will be adding a normal link to app store page, viglink will ensure if user purchase those app, you get your commission for the same. So in short, you are not letting your readers go for few cents, but making money from outbound clicks.
Thats a really nice post and congtualtions to your client for this
I had a question, more of a request
can you please make a post on these type networks in details describing the basics and how do they work
I’ve used a similar kind of network named Cuelinks but i soon left it because I didnt understand how it worked
i was asked to insert a javascript and that javascript just adds a redirection to all my existing URLs and if a person clicks on the URL he is rediredcted to the original page where he has to go instead of going to the advertiser’s page
