Very good review, nicely written. I’m just on my 30 day trial with this service. I’ve been with MailChimp and ConstantContact. Not bad either. MailChimp offers much for free but isn’t as intuitive as GR. Lately they are getting better in this aspect. Thing is we all have a lot to learn and we’ll have a lot more, because this pace is crazy. So we need simplicity and we need it badly.
Beside everything you covered, what I also find good about GetResponse is their survey creator&publisher being free once you buy e-mail service. I like that, in ConstantContact you have to pay extra for it. I was looking for it in aWeber but couldn’t find it. (Correct me if I’m wrong here, pls).
What I’d like to see in GR’s survey feature is at least some basic font choice within.
They say, money is in the list and it’s a solution to make lists.
When we look at these service what stops at first is it’s price. And very surprisingly, they are relatively expensive.I wonder why they price the service so high. It’s good that GetResponse monthly plan is not that high. Let me have some experience with it.
I was using MailChimp and it was awesome till my list was fairly smaller. But when it increased, I faced problem in sending blog-to-rss campaign and had to wait for another 10 or 15 days, or I need to go for a paid plan.
Getresponse is better than most of other service providers eespecially their pricing is really good for the beginners but in terms of rss to email feature, i think aweber is superior. but everything else is good.
I was thinking of email marketing from few days …..my email template question is solved by this artical…. if we send email to unkown people via Getresponse app ..would it be consider as spam?…
I think it’s a good one..!! Actually Email Marketing has become a trend now and without services like GetResponse we can’t make more money from blog as they help in maximizing the subscriber base.
