It’s been almost 5 months that I have not been published my income report but after a quality conversation on our Facebook fan page, I decided to bring back monthly income report back. Most of the bloggers who asked me to start publishing income report as they find it motivating and work as a boost to make money online. I had no reason to deny them as this was the only reason I started publishing my monthly income report.
What’s this monthly income report?
As a professional blogger 100% of my time goes to blogging and WordPress services. So all my income comes from various ads, affiliate marketing and services which I offer. This income report shows how anyone can make money by working online. Interesting fact is if you will see my Income report archive, you will realize how income grew over the time. My first income report was published on Feb 2009 when I made $434. It’s good to see in two years time, the progress is consistent and my income report number is increasing.
March 2011 Income report:

I might have missed out few aff. programs which have joined so we are close to $9000 for this month. My personal goal for this month is $10000. Though it’s not hard to achieve but probably I need to work some extra time for achieve that goal.
Not to forget from this earning, I pay almost $150 month for hosting and couple of premium services like premium plugins, support and some paid subscriptions like Warriorforum and many more. Also I pay around $1500 to paid authors and people who work for my company.
I’m expending my company and moreover since it’s the mark of new financial year, we are moving ahead with registration of company to bring India’s first professional blog network. We will be targeting to get 25 people in the team. Right now we are working with total 8 and most of them are working from home. But in some time, once the registration will be done, we will be moving to our own office and most of people will be working from home. Just to let you know, instead of going for conventional office, we will have a nice web2.0 style office. So you will never feel like working in a 9-6 office, after all blogging is all about freedom. Isn’t it?

Vuong yes it does. It includes all the blog in the network.
Congrats man your adsense and affiliate income is much higher i ever seen and also this income total was higher than your previous reports. Was this income from SML or from all your blogs. Your plans are great best of luck

Thanks for your comment and so far I have not seen any drop in traffic because I moved my hosting. Though if you planning to move to linode, I hope you know how to manage a named server.. It’s an unmanaged hosting and it would be better if you go for some managed VPS hosting like knownhost or Hostgator.

First of all congrats Harsh! But one thing seems to be confusing for me. Your adsense for content does not show any clicks. So, does it mean you made $1,407.46 with just page impressions? Or did you black out the number of clicks that your site got?

I am more interested to know about the affilliate earning source. it is been noted every where that what you earn from adsense is just the half of your potential. I mean double we can earn from affillate sales. but challenge is to find out the right one. So Harsa is it that hostgator and other hosting services are your affilate sales ?

Try Contextweb CPM, you can make good money with same traffic. I’m making good money from it and few tips are available in my Blog.

Just wanted to know from you & others based on your experience – How much time is generally taken from the day you launch a blog and the day you start getting reasonable good amount of visitors and ofcourse, earnings. I know, it would largely depends upon many other factors – like content quality etc etc, but still, may be there is something based on your exprience which you may like to highlight. For example, when we launch a blog and suppose, after 1 month, 2 months, 3 months and 6 months, 1 year – what should be our realistic expectations in terms of visitors/traffic/clicks/earnings to determine if we should carry on with the blog or not?
Others may also comment on this please.

I can see an increase in your Adsense income.
Can you propose how to get more visitors to our blog. I get only 100K impressions but you get 600K impressions.
I researched a lot but couldn’t find anywhere that how to increase lots of visitors.
Also I wanna know from your experience that after submitting a post what steps you perform on that post? I can predict following steps
1. Posting comments on other commentluv enabled blogs(to attract visitors)
2. Submit Articles with backlinks to this posts
3. Submit post url to various social networking sites.
4. Ping various blogs like Technorati
5. Try to submit this URL on various forums with keywords
I know only these steps. What all methods you use please share Harsh. This would be beneficial for growth of bloggers like me.
I know that just only posting a post wont bring lots of visitors. There must be lot of steps must be followed after posting post.

(1) Is the adsense income from just one blog i.e shoutmeloud or from your total network of blogs, and if so, how many blogs are there in total?
(2) I am inspired by what you share and do hope that many of the upcoming bloggers are, to take up blogging as full time occupation. I loved your concept of network of 8 people working for you sitting at their respective homes and earning handsomely, that’s called the joy of freedom and fruits of hard work.
Can you guide as to how to set up such a network? How to monitor the work in such a network? etc. etc.
It would be great if you could write up a post on the above. I am sure it would benefit the bloggers who are aspiring to grow and achieve the same heights as you have and they would thank you for the same.

1.We all know that adsense rates in India are very low as compared to a ad getting clicked by US traffic. Realistic, is there any possibility for a 25% or atleast 10% hike in the next 3 years in the ad per click rates in India. Kindly give realistic scenario. Currently it is not more than 2$ per 1000 impressions for a normal blog
2. Have the adsense per click rates increased in the past 3 years???

@KOna Affiliate marketing is when I make money by referring to someone product. When some one buys the product by following my link or using my coupon code, I get a commission out of that sale. Since, you refer such product which you use and you know the pros and cons, it works great.
