Many advertising companies offers Pop-Under advertisements and somehow revenue generation from Pop-under advertising is more than text link ads, contextual ads. Reason being, it loads every time with page load (depending on the settings) and if any one have a busy (high traffic) website, he can make more money out of it.
Now coming to the reality and the quality of Pop-under advertising, they yields good result and revenue stream is stronger but from a readers perspective they are very annoying. Imagine another tab opens up when you reload Shoutmeloud, how annoying that will be.

This question is answered by Matt Cutts (Google engineer) and he clearly said from a search engine perspective Pop-under ads does not make any difference.

Though like I mentioned above, Pop-under advertisements are annoying and is very annoying for readers. So if you are using Pop-under advertisements on your blog, you should better stop doing it, or else run a poll and ask your readers reactions for the same.
