It is in rejection, that we find time and time again, the success stories of these entrepreneurs. Now even research undertaken by Cornell and John Hopkins university have shown that people who are able to shrug off rejection and blazing their own individual trails experience heightened levels of creativity, commercial success and problem solving.

  2. #7 is one of my favorite quotes Srikanth. Thanks for sharing the inspiration with us!

Steve Jobs got it. At the day’s end, I feel awesome if I did my best, and like crap if I didn’t do my best. Most days, even if I screw up, I feel like I did my best. I put my heart and soul into most everything I do, even if it’s making fun of myself 🙂

In the same way, I’m quick to analyze where I can improve.

Like….comment-wise. Sometimes I mail it in. Gasp! I know, the commenting guy mails it in. Even now, it’s late at night in the jungles of Bali, and I want to go to bed – and I will my friends 🙂 – but, a few more paragraphs.

Not because length means success, but because good old Stevie J taught us to make that ding in the Universe, by loving what you do, and by doing a damn fine job as the product of your passion.

I dig blogging and travel, and I intend to create value through my blog posts, eBooks and comments, so I can build friendships and spread the word about my brand, to inspire folks to free themselves through blogging.

Srikanth, thanks! Keep spreading the inspiration 🙂

  5. Srikant,
“The only thing worse than starting something and failing… is not starting something.”
This one is the best one out all of them. Once we have a motive to start something we can either win or lose but not starting something always will feel like a loser. So you should choose doing something that’s what I think.

    1. Hi Aadith,

Yes, getting started is the most important thing. You’ll either succeed, or you’ll learn! Glad that you find this article useful.

  6. I love this: “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” Steve Jobs
