WordPress Landing Page Builder

As a blogger, you’re probably always worried about writing interesting blog posts that your readers care about.

But you can’t just spend time on blog posts – there’s another type of content that you need to focus on:

  • Landing pages.

If you ever want your readers to complete an action – like joining your newsletter or buying a product – you need a good landing page to convince them to take action.

In the past, you used to have to hire designers to create good landing pages.

Luckily, you don’t have to do that anymore thanks to some awesome services and WordPress plugins that will let you create an awesome landing page without hiring a developer.

Sound interesting? I hope so.

Because today, I’m going to show you the 6 best WordPress landing page plugins and services.

Best WordPress Landing Page Builder Plugins & Solutions:

Let’s get started…

1. Elementor

Elementor Page builder

Elementor is the most powerful, feature-rich, and also the value for money page builder WordPress plugin. You can use Elementor to create any kind of page, email box, or pop-up, and even implement exit intent boxes.

Elementor comes in free and paid variations. The free variation is good enough for a lot of basic features which you may need, and the pro feature (low cost), can be bought to add enhanced features.

I’m not getting in-depth of Elementor features here, as you can read my review of Elementor to learn everything about it.

Leadpages is actually a fully functioning stand-alone site that makes it easy to create landing pages.

But, they also have a WordPress plugin that makes it simple to add any landing pages you create to your WordPress site.

What I like most about Leadpages is you can use it on any platform.

  • For instance, you can publish a landing page on Facebook.

You can download created landing pages as an HTML file & upload it to your own server or have Leadpages host it for you.

The options are immense & it’s indeed one of the best landing page creator options for WordPress (and all other platforms).

Leadpages is easy to use. You don’t need to know coding or programming.

You can create all of your landing pages by just dragging and dropping in their interface.

If you’ve ever used a WordPress page builder plugin before, you should be able to use Leadpages to create landing pages.

You don’t need any designing skills as you can pick any pre-created template.

Most top internet marketers & bloggers I know are using Leadpages to create their landing pages.

Here are some of the main features of Leadpages:

  • Over 350 landing page templates
  • Mobile friendly
  • Drag and drop customization
  • Easy A/B testing
  • WordPress plugin that makes integration easy

For a single blogger, Leadpages costs $37 per month if you pay for a year of service.

For that price, you can create unlimited pages.

And if you pay for the slightly more expensive plan, you also get “Easy A/B testing” to help optimize your landing pages.

  • That optimization option alone could help you make more than what you pay for the service.

Here are some examples of landing pages created using Leadpages:

  • SML App download landing page
  • WordPress eBook download landing page for Facebook
  • Thank you page for email list

Leadpages is definitely one of the more expensive WordPress landing page creators, but if you’re serious about optimizing your landing pages, it is well worth the money.

3. Thrive Landing Pages: Modern & in budget

Thrive Landing Pages is another WordPress-specific landing page creator.

It makes it easy to create landing pages directly inside WordPress with a simple drag-and-drop editor.

You can choose to build a landing page from a blank template or use one of their 150+ templates.

One cool feature is that they offer themed sets of templates.

So if you need a few different landing pages for one site, you can have them all follow the same basic design. This is pretty unique among landing page creators.

Here are some features of Thrive Landing Pages:

  • 150+ templates
  • Themed template sets
  • Drag and drop editor
  • WordPress-specific – do everything inside WordPress
  • Mobile ready
  • One-time purchase – no monthly fees

Thrive Landing Pages only costs a one-time fee of $67.

  • It is the most affordable landing page creator I’ve discussed so far.

The themed template sets also make it really easy to create different landing pages across a single site.

If you want an affordable WordPress plugin, I think Thrive Landing Pages is a really good option.

4. WordPress Beaver Builder Plugin: Loved by many

Beaver Builder is a generic WordPress page builder plugin that can also be used to create beautiful landing pages.

The plugin lets you build any type of page using lots of elements and a simple drag-and-drop interface.

Because you can separate the design of a single WordPress page from the rest of your theme, it’s possible to create entirely custom looking landing pages.

But, it’s not a dedicated landing page creator, so you’ll miss out on a lot of the landing page templates that the other services have.

Beaver Builder still has 30+ landing page templates, but that’s nothing compared to the 150+ that Thrive Landing Pages offers.

Here are Beaver Builder’s main features:

  • Live front-end editing (you see exactly what your users will see)
  • Drag and drop editor
  • Mobile friendly
  • Reusable templates
  • Lots of page elements

Beaver Builder costs $99.

That’s a bit more expensive than Thrive Landing Pages.

So, if you want a general page builder in addition to a landing page creator, then Beaver Builder is a great option.

If all you need is landing pages, I think you should probably choose Thrive Landing Pages or OptimizePress.

5. OptimizePress: Not so good anymore in 2023

Where Leadpages is a platform-independent landing page creator, OptimizePress is exclusively built for WordPress.

It lets you easily create drag and drop landing pages from inside your WordPress dashboard.

If you don’t want to start from scratch, it also comes with over 30 templates. Yes, that’s a lot fewer templates than Leadpages, but it’s also a lot cheaper.

OptimizePress only costs a one-time fee of $97 for use on up to 3 sites.

You have to pay some money up front – but after that, there are no recurring charges like Leadpages.

Here are all of OptimizePress’s features:

  • 30+ templates
  • Mobile responsive designs
  • Drag and drop editor
  • 40+ elements
  • One time fee – no monthly charges

If you want something that works inside your WordPress dashboard and doesn’t cost a monthly fee, OptimizePress is a really good option.

I use OptimizePress for ShoutMeLoud’s membership site & it’s pretty decent, but at times, it can be a little limited.

I would personally recommend Thrive Landing Pages before OptimizePress.

But OptimizePress is still a pretty good option.

6. ClickFunnels: Much more than WordPress landing page creator

ClickFunnels is more than just a landing page creator, it’s a comprehensive sales funnel creator. Landing pages are obviously a big part of that, but you also get:

  • Email autoresponder software
  • A/B testing
  • and a lot more…

Their landing page creator comes with over 40 templates and a WordPress plugin that makes everything easy to integrate with WordPress.

They’ve got so many features, it’s hard to list all of them. But here are some of the best:

  • Over 40 templates
  • Drag and drop WYSIWYG landing page builder
  • Email autoresponder software
  • WordPress plugin
  • A/B testing
  • Full sales funnel support (not just landing pages)
  • Lots, lots more…

What I like most about ClickFunnels is that even if you are new to online marketing, their video tutorials will let you learn everything about sales funnels.

In fact, I have learned a lot from watching their videos.

Here are two sample videos from ClickFunnels that show what a sales funnel is:

So with all those features, what are the downsides of ClickFunnels?

Apart from pricing, there are no downsides of ClickFunnels.

If you are already earning from your existing funnel or want to start, ClickFunnels is an ideal choice for you.

  • The cheapest plan costs $147 per month.

I recommend ClickFunnels for smart bloggers trying to maximize their already existing revenue. For a new blogger, you should definitely grab their 14-day free trial & learn everything there is to know about sales funnels.

BONUS – Ultimate Landing Page

I know I said the top 6, but I wanted to share one bonus plugin:

I’m sharing it because it has a free version that, while limited, will still let you create landing pages in WordPress.

  • If you’re just beginning and can’t afford to spend money, this is a good option.

It includes templates that let you get set up easily. And if you ever want to upgrade to the advanced version, it will only cost you $49.

Ultimate Landing Page definitely doesn’t have as many features as the other tools I’ve listed, but I think it’s a good option if you’re on a limited budget.

Conclusion: Which Is the Best WordPress Landing Page Plugin?

If you are under budget constraints, Thrive Landing Pages is a great solution for you.

If your online marketing is not limited to WordPress, you should pick Leadpages or ClickFunnels.

I recommend ClickFunnels for anyone who has their own products as it can transform your business in no time.

There you have it – the 5 (well.. 6) best WordPress landing pages creators…

Have you used any of these tools to create a landing page? Which was your favorite? I’d love to hear about it in the comments.

  15. Gerhard

    Hi Harsh

I’ve always preferred custom coding landing pages. It used to give me more options to use my creativity. After using LeadPages for a client’s landing page, I fell in love with the platform. They have a HUGE collection of landing pages and they actually convert quite well.

I’ve used Click Funnels before, but personally prefer LeadPages over Click Funnels.

Haven’t used Thrive Landing Pages before. It actually looks quite promising, plus it plugs directly into WordPress. I’ll definitely be giving that one a try to see how it compares to LeadPages. I find having a landing page embedded directly in a WordPress site would be more beneficial compared to logging into a different platform when managing landing pages.

    Thanks for the great post!
