1. Ad Inserter
With lots of customization options and 16 different code blocks, Ad Inserter is a simple advertisement plugin for WordPress. The plugin lets you display the ads in various locations including before and after content, selected paragraphs or excerpts, before title, etc. You can also use the automatic display option to let the plugin choose the ad locations.
As the plugin also installs a custom plugin, you can easily display your ads in the sidebar too. Alternatively, you can display ads by using the custom shortcodes or PHP function. It is possible to customize the ads to display only to the logged-in, logged-out, or all users and users from specific type of devices. You can also choose to show the ads in older posts.
2. WordPress Ad Widget
WordPress Ad Widget provides one of the easiest ways to display AdSense or other ads on your website. Installing and activating the plugin will create several custom widgets in your WordPress website. To use the widgets, go to Appearance > Widgets from your website dashboard and find out the widgets titled ‘Ad Widget…’.
It is possible to display both text and image advertisements by using the plugin. The simple, beginner-friendly plugin lets you display an unlimited number of ads. However, make sure that you are complying with the policies of the ad providers.

AdPush is another great plugin for adding AdSense ads on your blog. Once you have installed and activated the plugin, you have to provide your AdSense publisher ID to authorize the plugin. After doing that, you can display ads by choosing the necessary customization options.
The plugin lets you show different types of ads including text, image, text and image ads, link blocks, etc. For each type of ad, you can choose the format. Available formatting options include Horizontal, Vertical, and Square resolutions. You will also find several positions for displaying the ads. So you can connect your website to your AdSense account and import ads from your account with one click without having to copy ad codes manually and change their layout.
You can also optionally view the sales of your ads and alerts from your account in the backend. Furthermore, Advanced Ads takes care of creating a correct ads.txt file for you and can automatically integrate both the verification code and the codes for Auto Ads and AMP Auto Ads.

I was using Adinserter, now installed AdvancedAds which I think better and easy for Adsense Auto Ads. Just have to add the id and it will automatically display ads.
Auto ads = lost revenue. Its adsense for lazy people.

Firstly thanks for the great article, i’m using WP QUADS from last 3 months but sometimes it not displaying ads in website.
I have been using Click Fraud Monitor Pro, Its Wonderful plugin by Rene, to have the full benefit of this plugin make sure you guys monitor the IP’s which spam your account and filter those by countries or Network provider and share the stats with google, Adsense team loves to hear if you are concretely following the program policies and it will make a good account standing, Hope it Helps 🙂

As we know Google Adsense official plugin already been removed now. These plugins are good but there are only a few plugins out there who is updating their software frequently. I like ad injection but it is also not updated past 2 years.
Plugins are good for those who do not know much about coding. But make sure, use updated plugins. The risk of using outdated plugins is that WordPress can remove anytime. Example: Stallion WordPress SEO plugin was good plugins from SEO perspective and it’s removed now. it’s no longer available.
Personally, I use a lot of plugins but it really scares me sometimes, what if the plugins will remove or stop updating.
If you are not- developer like me then you have to use plugins.

Great article, very informative. I am going to try one of these since the official AdSense plugin is no longer useful. I have tried ad inserter and ad injection but they insert ads too close to content materials. Google could tag that as a click bait. Gonna try some of these and check out which one works fine.

Getting Youtube adsense account doesn’t qualify you to have adsense ad on your blog. you will need to upgrade your adsense account. For that, you will need yo apply for adsense.
Have atleast 15-20 articles before applying for adsense.

I highly recommend you do not install Easy Plugin for AdSense as after deleting the plug in the code somehow overrides further adsense plugins and it’s cost me time and money to get someone to removed the hidden code. Absolute garbage plug in! Thanks for recommending it, after some research it seems there is hundreds of bloggers with eh same issue, nice one!
