AdSense Earnings Report

We all know that Google AdSense is one of the best recurring monetization networks for any blog or website. Today, I’m sharing my AdSense earning reports for the past 10 years.

I started blogging in December 2008 and implemented AdSense on ShoutMeLoud in 2009. Soon, it becomes one of the best ways to make money blogging for me. Along with AdSense, another profitable channel for me is affiliate marketing and selling my own products that you can see on ShoutMeLoud store.

While you are here, you should know that I have always been transparent about my blogging business. My goal with ShoutMeLoud is to help others follow their passion for writing and make a business out of it. This is why every month I publish income and traffic report so that you could apply all new techniques in your blogging journey.

Here are two articles that you should start with:

It’s 2019 now, and I wanted to share my AdSense earnings report for the last seven years. I believe this will be helpful to many bloggers, and help them figure out if they can rely on AdSense for their online income or not.

Before I share my AdSense earnings report, do remember:

  • This report includes all the blogs in my network.

Update: As promised, the Google AdSense eBook is out!

If you notice in the product column, “Hosted AdSense for Content” earned $571.27.

While it is not much, this comes from the AdSense-YouTube partnership.

I also earn from AdSense ads running on YouTube videos on my YouTube channel.

You should definitely focus on YouTube for monetization. It could be a great revenue source for your online earning. I suggest you to read below article to learn more about this:

How To Make Money on YouTube (With or Without Huge Subscriber Base)

To be honest, my one-year affiliate income report for any individual network is much better than my ten-year combined earnings from AdSense, but as I always say: recurring income from AdSense gives us peace of mind.

When you are earning online, recurring income is the first thing that you should target.

Once you are within your income comfort zone, you can try to implement new methods of making money from a blog.

When it comes to contextual advertising, there are many AdSense alternatives out there. But the quality of the ads and the timeliness of payments you get with Google AdSense aren’t available apart from a select few such as Setupad.

Can you rely on AdSense income as a full-time/sole source of income?

The reason I’m sharing my 10 years of AdSense earnings with you is to give you an idea of how much a blogger can earn from AdSense.

As I told you before, my AdSense earnings are only a small portion of my total income, but I know many bloggers who are making more than $8000 USD every month with AdSense. Here is a screenshot from another bloggers AdSense account and perhaps this is the biggest AdSense earning I have ever seen.

AdSense Lifetime Earning
  • Save

Do notice the lifetime column to see the potential of AdSense.

If I consider the salary of an average software engineer in countries like U.S.A, India, Brazil, and a few others, I find AdSense earnings to be more tempting than the traditional salary.

The only downside of relying only on AdSense for income is that if your account gets banned at any point in time, you will be hunting for the best suitable alternative, which is a “traditional” job.

If you are someone who is planning to start a blog and earn from AdSense, my advice to you would be:

  • Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

If you are planning to make blogging a career, it is a good idea to have multiple sources of income.

You can have multiple blogs, or you can use different monetization methods like:

  1. Monetag
  2. CPM ads
  3. Affiliate marketing
  4. Launch your own course
  5. Offer consultancy
  6. Digital products

and many others.

So that sums up my ten-year AdSense journey. I will continue to share whatever I learn during my blogging journey with you on my blogs.

I would be interested to know how much on average you earn from AdSense in a year. Would you recommend to anyone considering blogging as a full-time career to rely on AdSense earnings? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

If you find the information in this post useful, please share it with your friends and colleagues on Facebook, Twitter, and Whatsapp!

I’m a newbie in blogging and your post has been always an inspirational for me. I’m totally baffled and surprised to know the huge possibilities of earnings from the Adsense. Unfortunately something very seriously is missing in my blogging career as after implementing Adsense for last 7 months, so far my account shows totally earning as just $15. Can I ask you to give some advice to crack the nut ?
    Thanks buddy. God bless you.

    Hey Harsh !!
I can’t explain how much this post inspired me and yeah adsense really rocks. I totally agree with your these lines ‘we can’t express our fellings when we have our own first adsense cheque’ this means alot. I’m not from a rich family so yeah i understand what this all means in our life and yeah I’m still not of 18 lol. So I fell really bleseed when I give my cheque to my mom.
Aww I love blogging & Adsense.
    Thank you Harsh.
    Thank you Adsense… 🙂

It is quite inspiring HARSH see your results with the adsene, long this was one of the best ways to make money online and is still a good source, but now with better results with tapered CPA programs, cost per action where seeing Products branch with adsense have not achieved great results because you need a lot of traffic in site.Mas knowing how to make a good niche of choice is still possible to have a good income with adsense believe.
