Hundreds of Pakistani Adsense Publishers Banned by Adsense

If you are quite active on Facebook and other social networking sites like Twitter, you would realize in last 2 months many people started complaining about banned Adsense account. Initially it was not limited to a certain country, infact I have seen many Indian Adsense publishers got their Adsense account banned in last couple of months and most of them was because of Invalid clicks, placing ads which doesn’t meet Adsense ad placement criteria or due to placing ads on a site which doesn’t meet their quality guidelines.

No matter what, in most of the cases such banning could be justified itself by the webmasters and many of them accepted they made a mistake by placing ads on such pages. Anyways, Adsense team went more aggressive this time and they banned many Pakistan based Adsense publishers and as mentioned above violation is one of the reasons I stated above.

For example, one  of Pakistan Blogger Zee Shan, received the following Email from Adsense team:

After reviewing our records, we’ve determined that your AdSense account
poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a
responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due
to invalid activity, we’ve found it necessary to disable your AdSense
account. Your outstanding balance and Google’s share of the revenue will
both be fully refunded back to the affected advertisers.

Please understand that we need to take such steps to maintain the
effectiveness of Google’s advertising system, particularly the
advertiser-publisher relationship. We understand the inconvenience that
this may cause you, and we thank you in advance for your understanding and

If you have any questions or concerns about the actions we’ve taken, how
you can appeal this decision, or invalid activity in general, you can find
more information by visiting

The Google AdSense Team

What should you do if your Adsense account is banned?

There is no exact guideline or official confirmation added by Adsense team regarding mass banning of Pakistani adsense publishers, but if we follow the bookish guideline, here are couple of things which you should do:
If you account is disabled because of invalid clicks, you can always appeal using this appeal form. Though before you do the same, you would like to make sure, your blog meet their quality guidelines. And if you have copied pasted someone else content/posts on your blog, you might like to get rid of it right away. Do remember, if Google doesn’t entertain your appeal after filling up appeal form, you won’t be allowed to apply for adsense ever. Specially, if you are running an auto-blogs, it’s time to shut it down or atleast not to use Adsense on it. More over, almost 90% of advertising company doesn’t entertain running ads on Auto generated content blog. Read: Adsense slaps Auto generated content blogs.
Technically, the way I see this, most of the account banned happened is machine generated like Google panda algo, and if you feel your Adsense account ban is a mistake, you can always appeal about it and in most of the cases your account will be re-initiated. You should definitely read: 10 tips to avoid violating Google adsense policies.

I’m sure you must be looking for Adsense alternatives, but I would suggest if your account ban is a mistake, you should work on reactivating your Adsense account first. Because no matter what, there is no close and immediate adsense alternative which will pay you the same amount ad adsense. More or less, this is a hard time for Pakistani bloggers and webmasters as most of them relies on Adsense earning and as it is PayPal is not available in Pakistan which is one of the most used payment method in online world. How many of you feel that Pakistan government should take a step forward and atleast work on initiating PayPal in Pakistan, which will help Pak. freelancers and bloggers to have an alternative and one of the reliable way to receive payment from overseas?

We will keep you updated with latest happening on recent Adsense mass ban, if you are a Pakistani blogger and your Adsense account is banned, what possible reasons could you think of regarding the same? What steps are you taking to get back your banned account?

  1. Actually this is the first time I am hearing about the such mass banning. Seems like there is some algorithm kinda thing. Things will get worse in these case if people are completely depend upon Adsense. If you are starting your career as a professional blogger then this is really tough time. dont worry mates. Patience is the key

  2. This is very bad for fellow Pakistani bloggers, don’t know why but I think this action maybe happening due to worsening relations between u.s. and pak.

  3. @Zeeshan- Google takes a long time to respond to appeal. Atleast a week or two.

This is a very disappointing by Google. If they’re so capable of judging the invalid clicks than why don’t they develop such a check rule which farms copy paste website and auto-generated articles via feeds.
You said there are chances of Adsense being re-instated, but I hardly think they re-instate the ban accounts. Chances are too less.

  4. @ zenil shroff
i think you might be right

but this is very bad news for self dependent adsense bloggers…. 🙁

  5. I have got back my adsense account when it disabled once. but appeal form helps me to get back my account.

  6. Unfortunately, the current political conflicts between Pakistan and USA is the main reason behind all this crap. There are definitely some bloggers who violates Adsense terms and conditions, but the question is that is Pakistan the only country where bloggers write copy pasted stuff or violate Adsense terms and conditions? Definably NOT!

So, if Google have soft corner in its heart of bloggers of other countries then it should not be so harsh to Pakistani bloggers. Google is a big company so it should behave like a great company instead of behaving like a puppet in Zionist hands!

  7. Well, its not only related to tech blogs but to many other niches as well. They even banned the adsense account of a news website as well. Even my account is banned when i am 200% sure i did not violate any policy or anything. I filed an appeal but no reply yet. Lets hope for the best. And i think its time some steps should be taken to find out the reason for all this.

  8. Google does not care where you from, which country ,They once banned to0! At that time Adsense ads not displayed on his domain than he contacted someone from Google Adsense team than only he was able to get back his Ads on that domain ,Not everyone like him there are so many small Adsense publishers.I think if you only bloggging to earn through Adsense,Gone are the days the situation is not like before ,you should try other alternative to make it work for you ,Dependent on Adsense is fully rubbish and this time pakistan may be other time India.Try other alternatives like CPA(there are lot of money to make in this industry),other networks like buysell ads etc. to make it work for you than you don’t need Adsense account ever for their small pennies ..:)

  9. This is sad. Sometimes these bad stuff are just actions of certain individuals and affect everyone else within the process. I am sure that this “mass” banning perhaps affected legitimate and hard working individuals which are now faced with a difficult situation. I agree with you, that f this happens to someone, perhaps it is better to find out what happened, rectify it and request for an appeal. Alternatives to AdSense are really not that good. Anyway, I do hope that the Pakistan Gov one day allows PayPal to operate there. It does not make sense why not. They are even losing potential tax revenue form this.

  10. Ok had gone through this case and studied many sites of pakistani fellow bloggers and i found that most sites which were banned are offering downloads of pirated softwares and songs, seems like the ban is genuine.

Yes you are right harsh. Its not Google’s fault its mainly our fault. Most of the Pakistani bloggers like me haven’t have there blog’s Privacy Policy, ads were too close to our blogs main links and blog themes are also so old and crappy.

  13. Google is behaving like a dictator. It bans accounts after they reach payout and keep the hard earned money of the publishers. Google alternatives should become popular so that Google’s dictatorship mentality can be checked.

Google just like that bans an account without a warning. See, how much hard work a writer puts in blogs, they simply remove blogspot blogs and delete ad sense account just like that.

Google thinks they are God. G for God. Google means dictator.

  15. i think not any particular type of blogs are banned, some did wrong and get banned. By the way i am one of them as well.

  16. i have seen many blogs placing more than 3 ads on every page, moreover the contents are of shit quality and still they have such high PR..Reason why Google is banning the accounts and came out with panda update..

  17. I was really worried about my adsense account, but gladly everything came out to be fine and my first cheque got issued…:D

Feeling sad for those who lost their accounts…

Its amazing that people expect lot of things with Google but doesn’t want to update there own blog. I have seen many Pakistani blogs with same old Free WordPress themes and after earning so many years from Adsense they are not willing to spend some money to buy a premium WordPress theme.
