We have already talked about Google talk for iPhone where Google have not released any dedicated app like Skype or IM+ for iOS devices. Anyways, adding more dedicated IM apps in the list of iPhone, Yahoo announced new dedicated app for iPhone users. Later they upgraded it to add many advance features like Video calling option, voice calling. They also integrated it with Yahoo call out, so if are using Yahoo messenger to make cheap calls on landline, you might like to try this on iPhone. Though you need a high speed Wi-Fi or atleast good 3G connection.

Also Yahoo partnered with MSN, so you can enjoy Windows live messenger from Yahoo IM app on your iOS device. This app also allows you to send free International SMS to some of the countries like Indonesia, U.S.A, Canada and many other countries.
They also integrated some of the cool feature of desktop app for Yahoo IM like sending pictures, stealth settings, message Archiving and custom messages.
Yahoo messenger is available as free app on App store and support almost all iOS devices like iPhone/iPad2/ iPad/ iPod. At the time of updating the article in 2011, I have used Yahoo iPhone app couple of times and it worked really smooth. Specially if you are a MSN user and Yahoo user both, you would love to try Yahoo IM app.
Other IM app which I use on my iPhone is Skype which is also really great with it’s feature and video and sound clarity is good. Do let us know which all IM apps are you using on your iPhone?

Hi, is it possible to see older logs other than the recent ones? I kinda need an information on something from the archives but I got disconnected twice which means that what is archived in my iphone is the latest chat. I hope you could help me. Thanks in advance!
