WPEngine Video Review : Should You Buy Or Not Buy?

    By in Webhosting

    Bluehost hosting

When you start a new blog, selecting a webhosting is easy. You can grab webhosting from Bluehost or Hostgator which cost less than $5/month, and these hosting can easily manage the load of a new WordPress blog for first couple of years. When I started online, I started with Dreamhost and later on moved to Hostgator and many other hosting. The problem started, when my website started needing more resource and my VPS hosting guy, couldn’t optimise my hosting enough to handle the traffic.

Blogging is my profession, and with every down-time I lose a great chunk of money. Finally few months back I moved to one of the most expensive managed WordPress hosting via WPEngine and I have shared couple of articles to give you an overview and challenges with WPEngine hosting. Undoubtedly my experience with WPEngine is amazing, and that’s one reason I’m still with them, and paying more than $250.month. The best thing which happened for ShoutMeLoud after migrating to WPEngine is, zero downtime and I can install any number of plugins without worrying about issues like “Internal server error” ¬†or “Error connecting to database”. Before I share the video review, here are few articles on managed WordPress hosting and on WPEngine from Shout Me Loud archive.

Detailed Video Review of WPEngine Hosting

I have done a detailed video review of WPEngine and those who are considering or at the deciding phase of selecting the best WordPress host for their blog. This video covers everything you need to know about WPEngine and my personal take on who should buy and who shouldn’t buy WPEngine.

When we compare with many other alternative options like (Shared hosting, VPS hosting(, price seems to be on higher side. But as you must have heard “Quality always comes with a price tag”.. It’s good for serious online business who are using WordPress platform (Ecommerce site, Professional blog, Services site ).
