WordPress is the most powerful blogging software available right now and many people have blogs powered by WordPress. About a month back, my WP site went down and was down for almost whole month. When I opened a page, a blank page would appeared. WordPress dashboard wasn’t opening too.
As you know, or may not know that I am a student and I don’t have much time for blogging so I just left my blog alone and didn’t check it for about 2 weeks. One day I got some free time and checked my blog, still the same problem. I found that text files and images were all opening. I thought that it might be a problem with WordPress. I reinstalled WordPress but the problem didn’t fix. Then I changed my theme but still the same problem. I deleted all the plugins by using ftp file manager but nothing fixed. It was a complete head-ace and I was unable to find any solution on the web too.
When I opened html viewer of my browser, there was written something telling that the “Advanced-cache.php” file generated by WP-Super-Cache was making the problem. I deleted the file available in “wp-content” folder and re-installed the plugin. Everything got fine and after being down for a month, my blog is up and running again.alternate method.
