Few days back we have announced the release of wordpress 2.8.1 to fix the major bug in Wordpress 2..8.1.
Today wordpress launched the wordpress version 2.8.3 which will fix the remaining bug in wordpress 2.8.1, which is not carried away in wordpress 2.8.2.
To update your wordpress you have two option :
- Automatic
- Manually
Automatic :You can update your wordpress version by simply clicking on wordpress 2.8.3 update available in your wordpress dashboard.
Make sure you take the backup of your blog before you do any update.
Manually : Manually download wordpress 2.8.3 from the link given below.

I upgraded and had no problems at all. I have seen a few posts today of people complaining about it not working. I just don’t know how it works for me and others and others have problems.
