What is openID?
When I started reading blogs and while commenting I always saw an option COMMENT USING OPEN ID!!
I always wonder Before I Become a Blogger, What is OpenID?
Officially Open ID is a shared identity service, which permits users to login Into many Internet resources using Single Sign-on.
An Open ID is in the form of a URL.
and this eliminates the requirement of several user name and password.
Single Sign-on is becoming a standard now a days and one of the popular way to log into multiple sites.
Though it is not widely accepted but now When we can use Our google Account as an identity to Open ID.
“The day is not Far When Open ID will become the most popular way to log into every where.”
All the major leaders of Internet like Google, yahoo, MSN, Sun, Novell, AOL are now supporting single sign on.
Few days back Google also permits Open-ID to use Gmail account as Single Sign-on.
That means now you can use your Gmail id as Open ID.
For bloggers It is advisable to use your blog address as an Open ID.
That will give more exposure to your blog rather then your E-mail address.

open ID is fantastic ..
I saw it under my settings option in blogger.
You can also print your ecard from the open id url..
