Many of my readers and blogger friends asked me do you get traffic via Entrecard and though i have added Entrecard but I never tried to use it to the optimum before I did my research on Entrecard .

I find the system of Entrecard very fair and the easiest way to boost your traffic without any extra effort, so I thought writing a post for the same will be very useful for many blogger who are already using Entrecard widget but they are still not able to find the way to increase traffic through Entrecard.

In this post I will be writing more about Entrecard and how to use it.
In the next post I will write about how to increase your traffic through Entrecard.

What is Entrecard?

Entrecard is a free advertisement exchange network which let you exchange advertisement of your website with the advertisement of some other website.

Why Entrecard?

Unlike other advertisement program Entrecard is completely free, and the point policy is so clear, which make the Entrecard system Transparent.

Entrecard is a complete exchange program, if you added Entrecard widget on your blog/forum and you expecting that it will boost your traffic then you need to read the whole article to understand the Entrecard system.

Entrecard is a credit based system; you will get credit when you drop a card on someone and when other will drop card on your Entrecard widget.

How do I increase my Entrecard credits?

When you drop a card on some other Entrecard widget you will get one credit (maximum you can drop 300 cards in a single day) and when someone else drop on your widget you will get one credit.
When someone buys advertisement on your website you will get the amount depending on your advertisement pricing.

Why do I need Entrecard credits?

Entrecard credits let you buy advertisement, the site with more traffic and with maximum number of card drops require more credit to advertisement on their website.

I got a mail which says “An advert for your Entrecard widget is pending your approval”, what does it mean? And how do I approve it?

It means that someone bought advertisement on your website and you need to approve the advert, you can do it by logging into your Entrecard dashboard.

Check the image, in the right bar which is numbered as 2, you will see all pending adverts you have to manually accept it.

Now before accepting do visit that website to confirm that if that website/blog is good website (should not be an adult one).

I have 1000+ credits on my Entrecard account, How I can advertise my website on other website?

First of all you need to create a 125*125 image for your Entrecard widget, do make it sure that which widget which you are creating should be clear and attractive else though you might be lucky to put your advertisement on someone else website but you will not be able to get good amount of traffic.

When you open any Entrecard profile

You will see an option to advertise beneath his profile image.If you have enough credit and that website is similar to your website and have good amount of visitors, feel free to advertise on that website.

Currently there are almost 5 approved adverts on my Entrecard profile, and all of them are buying my advert space again and again because they are getting good amount of traffic through Shoutmeloud as i have placed my Entrecard widget at the top sidebar.

On the homepage of Entrecard you can browse for Entrecard user according to category of there web-blog.

You just use the keyword as the title of your entrecard and then drop to websites that displays recent droppers. That way the title of your EC will be displayed on that site as link to your website or optimized webpage.
