Since the January 2009 freegate is no more free for users outside CHINA and this is big set back as freegate is one of the best unblock proxy software and my and my office colleagues where the big fan of freegate for its simplicity and it also let us bypass bandwidth restriction.
Few months back I have written about freegate and since then many of my readers mailed me using shoutmeloud contact form and asked me the alternative to freegate. Though I have used almost every firewall unblocking software and after freegate I will recommend best one as ultra surf for one simple reason it is fast,small and reliable.

Another best alternative will be Your-Freedom. One simple reason to use Your-freedom is that wherever ultra surd doesn’t work Your-freedom comes as rescue. The downside of Your-freedom is that it is not as fast as freegate and ultrasurf and it’s speed is cap to 8 Kb/s but then also it is good enough for regular surfing and it also let you download torrent on blocked domain and unblock firewall which block torrents.

The other alternative will be JAP. Though I used JAP and I din find it as handy as ultra surf and Your-freedom so I never wrote about it but opera tor is an another alternative which help you to surf anonymously.

i have connect the utrasurf software and it refuses to add friend and send message on facebook,yahoo and other site.i will appreciate you help on this.My email is luv2dare@yahoo.com thanks in advanced

can any one help me out….. I am unable to use ultrasurf cos wen ever I try 2 connect my proxy server with ultra surf den always it displays a msg that multiple IP detected…..
I hav also done all the required proxy setting in ultrasurf as wel as my IE browser
