When Twitter launched Twitter follow button last month, they also announced the launch of Twitter own photo sharing service in partnership with Photobucket. Finally Today, Twitter rolled out photo uploading feature on Web interface of Twitter. I tried this feature of Twitter and image uploading is quick and preview feature is very useful. If you have not logged into web interface of Twitter, I would suggest you to login to your Twitter account and you might be greeted with following message:

For now, Twitter have not added any feature like Photo Zoom or any other preview option. But we can expect some enhancement in future. More over the biggest flow of this feature now is, there is no easy way to track your previously uploaded images. Where as if you use free service like twitpic, you can easily keep track of your uploaded images and views on those image.

Here is a quick video to learn how to use image uploading feature of Twitter:

Though for now, I would prefer using Twitpic for above mentioned reasons. Though it’s good to see new addition on Twitter and hope to see nice addition to this feature.

So which image uploading service would you prefer for uploading images on Twitter? Twitpic, Twitter web or something else?

Image editing is something which I don’t think they will be aiming into… Though if they do, it will be a nice addition. For now, I would expect them to update it to add couple of viewing options like Zoom or full screen view.
