Twitter is pushing some quick useful updates these days. Yesterday Twitter added description feature in Twitter list and now Twitter added Geo tagging feature.
This Geo tagging feature will enable third party Twitter application to get your location.
To enable this feature you need to login to your twitter settings and check mark option which says enable Geo-tagging.
I believe this feature is enabled for all the twitter users unlike Twitter retweet feature. From yesterday tweets retweet feature in twitter profile is live for every one now.
Do you see retweet and Geo-tagging feature in your twitter profile?

Hey where is this feature? I cannot See
Check below location in your Twitter Settings page
http://twitter.com/account/settings
Yeah I can See That in Settings Section! Thanks for Update Harsh
This is the more interactive feature added by Twitter.I read about it some days ago on Mashable but ultimately it’s out now after the development.
It’s nice to see Twitter adding some new functionality I have been getting pretty bored with it lately, maybe the new toys will spark my interest.
All though I will say that I personaly avoid GeoTagging, I feel that only people around me need to know exactly where I am located.
Like that twitter is adding new features itself rather than waiting for some client to do the job.
I’m already using the retweet feature and Geo-tagging looks cool.
I don’t know why Twitter haven’t provided this feature by default to all twitter users. In order to show your tweet location you have to manually enable Geotagging from twitter account->setting page.
