Twitter most awaited Creating a list feature is now live. For those who are not aware of list feature, this is a new feature from Twitter, in which you can create a list of tweeps and you can share them with people. Though this service is currently in beta, Twitter has introduced this service to large no. of people.
This will be very useful for sharing useful tweeps with other twitter users. In this post I will guide you how you can create a list for your twitter profile.
When you will log into Twitter , you will see an announcement to create a list, you can click on it create a list, else go to your Following page and from there you can create a list.
Click on create list and give a name to your list. You can name your list anything like :
- Official blog announcement
- Tech Friends
- Retweet Tweeps
- Tech updates .
Once you have created a list, Go to your twitter following page, and click on right hand side of any user to add him to any list. Check screenshot
Put a check mark on the name of the list and that profile will be added in the list.
You can see this list on my official twitter profile @denharsh.
Why don’t you create a list of cool tweeps and share with us?

Hey Internet Tomorrow, This service is currently in beta and only selected Twitter users are seeing this, you need to wait till this feature come out of beta phase.
Oh wow. I was wondering why I didn’t see it either. Do you know how they selected users for the beta?
That looks like a really awesome alternative to Follow Friday.
I’m looking forward to this going live.
Even I’m Unable to See This..Better Luck Tomorrow!
Interesting Feature! and Thanks for Updating This News Bro
Nice Article Harsh!
But there is a typo error in the post header..please correct it.
This is really a nice feature added by Twitter team, will definitely add more users to Twitter in coming days. Thanks buddy for sharing this info.
I am also unable to see this OK waiting for the day
I know this is a nice add-on to Twitter, but I really liked Twitter when it was much more simple, cleaner and cooler. Too many cooks spoil the broth..similarly too much of something can ruin stuff.
My 2 cents.
@Farrhad
This is a very cool new feature and will definitely help us bloggers. I will be adding this post to my “Sunday’s Best” series this week as I do not think many people know about this yet.
This looks like an excellent feature, but so far I have not got this.
