This post is mainly for those people who are Professional Bloggers or Web Developer. These are some tweaks only, hope it helps you.
If your website has a good Alexa Rank, a good Google PR or huge Pageviews per day, then the possibilities of getting an attack on your website or on your system increases by great rate.
Here are some measures you can take to be safe from certain vulnerabilities -:
1. Antivirus -
Whenever we talk about these vulnerabilities, the main thing that strikes our mind first time is about our antivirus.
Antivirus should be installed in one’s computer and make sure that it is up-to-date upgraded and keep it on every time and never ever ignore your security alarms provided by antivirus.
Many hacking attempts are done mainly by sending Trojans and Malwares in victim’s system. You can prevent them easily by the use of a good standard Antivirus.
2. Password -
Password of the victims side is the second option for any hacker who tries to exploit the server.
Be sure everytime to keep you password long and be it a mixed one in AlphaNumeric form. Don’t ever keep your password a specific word, celebrity name e.t.c.
If there is a need to share your password with anyone then make sure it is a trustworthy.
3. Firewall -
Firewall is a utility program that offends the intruders to access your system by remote login. You should configure your Firewall according to your need. A good Firewall is a must for professionals.
4. Test Attacks -
After configuring your server-side, you should test it by a hack attempt to test its vulnerability towards hackers. You can do a test attack by yourself it you know how to hack or you can even hire an Ethical Hacker for it.
