End-users or prospective markets are given a chance to learn more about the product 's features, so they would know whether the features will compromise them or not according to their requirements. It wouldn't bother me in the least to see Flash replaced by something else as I've never cared for it. It has a real bad habit of interfering with stuff. I removed it from my main computer long ago and barely miss it.
