Useful Time saving apps for Webmasters:
Before I share the list with you, one thing which I want you to take care of is Time-management. Believe it or not, Time is money and you should put your time and effort on important things first. Make a list of to-do things and sort them in priority and time. If it’s too many work, finish first few least time-consuming tasks to relieve yourself from Work pressure. This will also help you in boosting your experience and later start finishing tasks based on priority.
Now, I’m many of you who are a Blogger and an Entrepreneur, understand the important of time. Now, here are some tools that will help you get things faster and quicker.
Tn3Gallery– Make your WordPress Blogs even better with this photo plug-in.
If you make a lot of WordPress blogs and use pictures or videos on them this plug-in should interest you. It easily lets you manipulate your pics, make slide shows, transitions, crop and lots of other stuff. In the end, what it really does is make your blogs stand out from the crowd, and in today’s ridiculously busy blogosphere anything that can help my blogs get noticed is fine by me. If blogging is your thing you need this app.
Best Feature – All the tools are built into the plug-in so no need for externals. <Link>
Hopper – See it on the net, save it for viewing later.
I surf the net all day long between projects and, when I see something interesting, I don’t always have the time to finish it. Problem is, when I try to find it again (or remember exactly what it was) I usually have a hard time. Hopper lets me save anything I want to any device I’m using so that I can read it later when I have the time. It won’t change the world but it is a great time saver. I can even see it when I’m offline.
Best Feature – It works with all your devices and saves to the same place. <Link>
Timely – Schedule your Tweets for maximum effect.
Twitter has become one of the powerhouse sites on the net for getting the word the word out about your business or your newest products, album, clothing line, or whatever. If you Tweet a lot but don’t have the time to keep track of all of those messages Timely can do it all for you, including scheduling your tweets so that they get sent out at the best time to get the most views and best results. If you’re a casual Twitter user you probably don’t need it but if you Tweet a lot it could be a godsend.
Best Feature – Your past 199 tweets can be analyzed to figure out the best time slots to post. <Link>
Mighty Deals – Web tools you need at excellent prices.
This is not really a time saving app, but if you read and understand this “Time is money”, this Website is for you. Mighty Deals is one of my fave ‘deal’ websites for 1 reason; they sell web tools I actually need and use. I mean let’s face it, most deal sites sell crap. That’s right, I said it. Crap. I don’t have time or money to waste on most of the junk they sell, and Mighty Deals knows and respects that by selling tools that a web pro like me needs. They even have a ‘freebies’ page! If you need web tools and don’t have time to waste you need to check this site out.
Best Feature – The ‘deal of the day’. 1 great deal every day. Love it. <Link>
Cropp Me – Fast cropping for your photos.
This one is easy. Cropping pictures for use on your websites is a chore, but with Cropp Me you can crop them quickly and easily to the most used sizes, like thumbnails, FaceBook Timeline pics, and avatar. You can crop 5 at a time to whatever size you require and use them anywhere online you need them. This is another app that won’t change the world but will make yours a little easier.
Best Feature – Crop 1 pic to various sizes with a couple of mouse clicks. <Link>
CueUp– Wherever that info is CueUp will find it.
I have so much info online spread out over so many websites, emails, blogs and whatever that finding 1 piece of info is like finding a needle in a virtual haystack. Cuteup takes the stress and time out of finding that info no matter where it is. Tweet, post, email or blog, it works like a bloodhound to find that info and get it where it belongs; in front of your face. It’s only on the iPhone now but Android should be coming soon.
Best Feature – Works on whatever platform you’re using. <Link>
Dropbox – Using the cloud to make sharing files easy.
Sharing files can be a chore, even if you just want to share them with your own devices to yourself. Dropbox is really a great program and I use it a lot. You simply ‘drop’ your file, no matter what it is, and it goes to Dropbox on the cloud and can be viewed anywhere else you want, or by anyone that you give permission. It’s ridiculously simple and fast, and I appreciate anything that makes my life this much easier. You can also check out some of the Dropbox addons, which will help you to make more out of Dropbox.
Best Feature – Drop pictures to share with anyone, anywhere. It’s great. <Get Dropbox>
