Last time I talked about WordPress Matt and Thesis Pearsonified controversy over Thesis GPL and this debate has taken lots of heat and created lots of buzz in WordPress community. From last few days people are taking about pros and cons of GPL licensing for WordPress Premium themes and this was becoming never ending debate.
But finally now this issue has been resolved as Pearsonified announced in official tweet that Thesis is now licensed under GPL license.
Here is what his Tweet says:
The PHP is GPLv2; CSS, JS, and images are proprietary.
Friends and lovers: Thesis now sports a split GPL license. Huzzah for harmony! #thesiswp
And just after Pearsonified announcement for the same, Matt showed his happiness and stated in his tweet:
Thrilled, however, that #thesiswp is now legal and in compliance, I hope this encourages others to fully embrace the GPL
This is a win for whole WordPress community and for Thesis theme. More over this created a landmark for future Premium WordPress theme clubs to follow the GPL license while crating any framework or Theme which work with WordPress. Read more about Thesis and WordPress GPL licensing solved.

Yups, thesis theme is revolution of wp themes premium

Well I love Thesis a lot, and it’s better than any other themes, but it’s even better if there was a Thesis Mobile Theme. That would be so sweet! No Need for Plugins like WPtouch anymore =]
