    I have seen the following error lately when I tried setting up my Windows live writer for the shoutmeloud at different location. http://<hostname>/<wp_path>/xmlrpc.php Error occurs because of two issues: Xmlrpc not enabled Proxy error In my case it was because of proxy error.
