Well registering domain is like buying a name for your blog or website. You can easily search for a domain name at very place. Domain name for a year will cost you 10$ and then come the hosting. Hosting is the place where all your files will be stored. Like in blogspot, which is powered by Google servers. In this case I’m talking about dreamhost hosting service. Which I use.
Its easy to buy a free domain along with a hosting from dreamhost. I’m talking about dreamhost because of my experience with it.
For one year it will cost u 69$.
Let me know if u need more help or want me to set up wordpress for you on remote.

hay your blog is realy gud with interesting stuff like this .. . i like your all posts .. in this post u have explained ony Installing self hosted wordpress blog in dream host but i want from the beginging i.e what is registraing domain ?,
hosting a domain like this …….. can please post from the basic because i am look for that .. i will come back to your blog once again to c how you replayed to this comment . I also looking for hosting a self domain in WP but i don’t know how to do that so i am commenting here i think u can help me …..
