Spice up your website or blog with Google Web Elements!

Google Web Elements With Google Web Elements, you can easily add Google products such as news, Google Maps, and YouTube videos, along with features like social conversations from Google Friend Connect and many more to your blog or website.

They are very easy to integrate and are really very useful. For example, you want to have ajaxed google search on your blog pages by which you can also earn, you can simply add the custom search element with adsense. Here is a small screenshot below:

Here is the list of all Web Elements you can add on your site:

  • Calendar – You can easily add dates, events, etc. in the calendar and embed it on your own website.
  • Conversation – This is more like the chat widgets which you get on many website, the difference is that this is by Google and is integrated with Google Friend Connect.
  • Custom Search – As talked above, you can add the ajaxed custom search element with your own ads in your pages.
  • Maps – You can mark locations in the map and embed the map on your site so that visitors can find the location and get directions.
  • News – You can show the latest headlines from Google News on the topics you specify.
  • Presentation – You can embed slideshows (which are hosted on Google Docs) on your website so that visitors can see your slideshow without leaving your website.

  • Spreadsheets – You can show spreadsheets on your website by using the Spreadsheets Element. You can update the spreadsheets in Google Docs, and the visitors will always see the latest version of the spreadsheets.
  • Youtube News – You can embed this element to show your visitors the latest Youtube Videos from the news source you specify.

Nice post i think this is best practice for personal blogs. visitor stay on blog longer.

Yes, the visitors stay for long on your site, especially if you put that chat widget integrated with google friend connect, so that people can interact with each other.
