Sitemeter is one free site statistics and monitoring tool like Google analytics. You can see your visitors referral information and how many people are online at the same time on your blog. Along with it there are many statistics which you can see with the help of sitemeter.

I have used sitemeter, statcounter and others like radarurl that show ‘currently online’ visitors on the blog. But Google analytics or host based systems like awstats are so rich with information that others are never enough.

Sitemeter is definitely good.

I’ve been using SiteMeter for a long on my home page, but later switched to Google analytics. The only problem I had with SiteMeter was it allowed me to track only one website in the free version, but I needed to track my different blogs. Otherwise, SiteMeter is a great service, as it’s possible to see the page hits, lively.

That’s one downside of it, though I prefer using it on all my blogs.
I use both analytics and Sitemeter for all my domains.
