Few days back I have written a simple trick which you can use to show your Window media player playing song as Google talk status. I always missed such kind of feature in Yahoo messenger, but good news is from now on you need not need to miss Yahoo messenger music status message. Now you can show your current playing music title as yahoo messenger status.
Yahoo announced the new plugin for yahoo messenger Foxy tunes, which is also a very popular addon for Mozilla Firefox to control your multi media player.

When you select a player, it will launch it on your desktop (if it’s not already open). Then use the controls in the FoxyTunes plug-in to begin playing the song, skip to the next song, pause, adjust volume or move ahead in the song by clicking the progress bar.
To share what you’re listening to with your Yahoo! Messenger friends, click the Share your music icon (the one with two arrows on it). Be sure the box for Display current song as your status message is checked, and then click your status message menu at the top to select the currently playing song from the list. When the next song comes on, your status will automatically update.
You can download the Foxy Tunes plugin for yahoo messenger from here. Download the plugin and install it. Once it is installed , you can easily select the player from the list.
You only have to allow once to permit the application to change your yahoo status, after that it will automatically change the status to current playing song.
More over you can control , change track using Foxytunes addon.

yea this is nice info seems it is going gtalk way we can do thing in y messenger also what we are doing in Gtalk like sharing current status
I always missed this feature in Yahoo, earlier we can show current playing music only using Yahoo music , but I wanted to show it from my desktop , and glad yahoo rolled out the plugin for the same.
