October was a great month for ShoutMeLoud blog network as we were trying lots of new things on and off and it was a learning curve for me and for my team. We have few new authors whom you will be seeing regularly here and on other blogs in our network.
In terms of traffic, we have seen a slight increase from last month traffic report. The good thing is we have stopped writing technology posts which used to be a real traffic booster for any blog and still out traffic is increasing. It’s so good to be niche specific and we are building every blog in our network as niche specific.
Getting back to traffic stats here are the monthly report for October 2010:

Visits: 168,199
Page Views: 460K

Compare to last month major difference is via search engine traffic and rest other referring sites are sending steady traffic. I will be focusing more on getting traffic from Twitter as twitter traffic is still less. You can expect more Twitter oriented posts this month.
I have also one sad news to share & that is I will not be publishing monthly income report from now on. That is because to stay low profile in offline world. I always loved to share my income report but again I knew some they I have to stop it. And finally I have decided to stop posting about my income report.
What next?
I won’t bore you much with our future plans, but for now all I can say is lots of new things are happening here at ShoutMeLoud headquarter and I will say stay tuned with ShoutMeLoud to get some new exciting news, updates and tips. Congrats on achieving pageviews nearly 500k hope this will increase to 1000k and u get more richer in terms of revenue share.

Karan don’t forget it took almost 2 years to reach this stats..So if you do everything right, you will be having better stats in 2 years…

It is really sad to hear that you will not be posting your income report as it served as a good motivator for many of us. That said you have to do what you need to do.

That’s really great dude SML traffic is growing and bounce rate is only 18.23 which is very very good but Average Time on Site is very low find the reason and try to increase your blog Avg time on site which will also increase your search engine results page (SERP).
And focus on Bing, optimize your blog in Bing for better SERP, Bing can send you more traffic than yahoo sends.

I really started doubting 18% bounce rate and feel its a technical glitch.. Coz avg time on site should be more if bounce rate is this much low..!!
I know I never focused on Bing and yahoo apart from submitting sitemap and do general SEO optimization of post which is good for search engine (Google) and other search engine might pick details…
Let me do more research on Bing and let me find out what I’m missing..!!

Nice stats. Believe me I just landed, like many others, here to read the monthly income report which inspires me every month to work hard on my blog. But looking the other scenario, it is a good decision to hide the income in blogosphere.

Mine was better than the last month. Just trying to keep up the consistency on posting. Trying to balance on my regular job and take out time.
Remarkable figures… keep it up and best of luck. Hope you touch 200k soon… Sad to hear that you wont be sharing the Income report.. but u must be having some concrete reasons on that. These 2 reports, I have never missed reading since June 2009, when I first read SML.
Aman some time it gets really tricky when you try to keep a balance between your day to day job and blogging..You should try writing more posts on weekend and schedule them for week.. This way you will be less stressed and overloaded on weekdays….

Its great achievement there is always increase in your traffic and income.but its bad that from now you will not be posting on income report.
as i am new to blogging and my blog is 2months old. and my blog is getting 20 to 30 visits a day. so how much time it will take to generate minimum of 1000 visits a day.
I’m the one who like to watch your ‘monthly traffic report’ and ‘monthly income report’…inspiring to see your numbers growing up!

I see that your conversion rate(visits to pageviews) is simply great.
I have got 237,486 Visits but, my pageviews is just 371,979.
I need to improve on that. Do you have such post or think of making in future. So that it can help me and others.
