Yesterday we posted about our monthly income report and now it’s time for monthly traffic report which shows how well we are doing with traffic and exposure. My monthly traffic report give me a comparison chart and if traffic is sinking I can quickly see what’s wrong and how can I get my traffic back. This month I expected Shoutmeloud traffic to be little low because we stopped publishing breaking tech news and all those are shifted to CallingAllgeeks. But somehow our traffic is increased from last time and good to see that most of the traffic is still coming from search engine.
Here goes our August 2010 traffic report:

So most of my traffic is still coming from search engines and one thing which you notice if you will compare to my last month report that my facebook referral has increased and Twitter referral is still the same. Just for the info I stopped Auto-Tweeting and Auto-posting on Twitter and facebook respectively. This was a good thing as I tweet selective post and add my comments while tweeting.
Since we are slowly removing the tech part from Shoutmeloud and including social and blogging part more, I believe we will see more traffic from referring sites in future. But I will still love to see Google sharing the maximum percentage of traffic.
Another great thing which happened this month is Shoutmeloud alexa rank is below 5K this month which was almost 5.4K last month. I’m finding it hard to wait and see Shoutmeloud getting into top 1K alexa rank milestone. Probably this will take an year, but I won’t mind waiting for an year.

You’ve got great traffic, and this report is very interesting. I especially find your bounce rate interesting. I think it’s probably the lowest bounce rate I’ve ever seen on a blog. That’s incredible. It shows that people really find your blog amazing.

Well another fantastic month for SML. Both in terms of revenue & traffic. Though m unhappy that the tech part will go off & shift to CAG. Try to update atleast a tech post in a couple of days time. This will increase the organic traffic too.
