You are almost right but the major benefit with digg is if any of your articles make a FP the number of backlinks which you get from high PR websites are enormous and it is too good for your website and that sudden spike of traffic if you can hold it and if you can convert them to your loyal visitors then only you will be able to enjoy the joy of making a FP else making a FP might makes you few bucks and nothing more.

BTW – Digg and SU doing good. I have another blog for which I drived visitor W/O any Social network. and I still remember my analytics always remained between 10-20 for almost 2 months. but the new one.. it’s jumping.

I agree with you and probably that’s why I’m getting distant from Digg. I made better connection and friend on Twitter but at the same time it’s the basic rule of social media that you should be available everywhere.

Hmm, I believe Twitter is a better place for social media connection. I also make friends there, but then I always ask them their Twitter account to keep the connection. Chatting back and forth on Twitter is really easier than shout on Digg.

How about point 2 and 4?
2: Social media connection : The friends we made there on digg, most of them are social media expert, webmasters, bloggers and SEO expert. In my case I got many help from them with many things. When I was facing SEO issues Saadkamal helped me with everything. Many digg friends approached me to help me with design.
