In my previous post I covered how to Rename Windows Start Button.

In this Article, I will tell you How to Rename Windows Recycle Bin.

Rename recycle bin

  • Go To START>RUN
  • Type regedit and press Enter
  • cLICK On   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
  • Drag Down and select CLSID
  • Under CLSIS , Find this Key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
  • Under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} Submenu Double Click on ShellFolder
  • Double Click On Attributes and change the value from 40 01 00 20 to 50 01 00 20
  • Click on ok !

Now rename the Recycle Bin to anything Of your choice by selecting recycle Bin.

Cool tip but , I don find any use with the trick you mentioned..
But still I learned some thing that is important for me..

cool entry, thanks for that. the recycle bin is a great mystery on my computer :D what i want to know most, however, is, how you can delete it. if you have an idea please post it

I tried it on windows 7 but i got an error
