Smart way to remove Autorun.inf from Pen Drive

Today Pen Drives are the most used Drives for transferring Data from one PC to other. But Pen Drives have most chances of carrying viruses like auto run and Trojan Horse.This Tutorial is for those who are searching for removing Autorun.Inf virus or file infected by viruses. This is a simple tutorial which anyone can apply to remove Autorun.inf from pen drive(s). So, let’s start the tutorial step by step:-

1)Open Notepad and Leave It Empty.

2) Save the Note Pad in your Pen-Drive Drive (G:) ( could be anything in your case)  with name “Autorun.inf” as shown in Image below.

This is the very basic way to get rid of autorun.inf without using any antiviruses or anti-spyware in your system.

Wow! Is That so Simple!
what’s the logic behind this?
how exactly it works?
how could a blank notepad saved as autorun.inf serve as antivirus?
i need more explanation!

The concept behind this is to overwrite the autorun.inf with an empty one.. because an empty autorun can’t execute automatically.. having said that.. some virus and trojan will still overwrite the autorun.inf file automatically.. So if you are already infected then it will not work out as should be.. hope it helps!

Good advise, though I woonder how it will work? I use ‘Kaspersky’. I am 100% satisfied. Its the best :)

Kaspersky saved me more than few hundred times.. the best a man can get for AV.. since 1997 I’ve build my trust on it

Free AV is not an option… I wouldn’t trust an AV which is Free, Also AVG false alarm is way too much .. even AVAST is much more better in detection rate.. I’ve experienced 25 AV software and still KAV is number one on detection and cleanup.

I wonder.. will it work.. If Yes, then all the viruses will fail..and that too so easily.. I doubt in its plausibility
