Rapidshare is one of the most popular file uploading website. Rapidshare hacking was always a prime concern for the Rapidshare users.

The most common attack on Rapidshare account is by using Rapidshare phishing method, where users get a fake email stating that you need to verify your Rapidshare account by clicking on the link and when you click on the link, you will be redirected to login page of a fake website which is a replica of original rapidshare page. This is one of the most easy and successful method of hacking rapidshare account.

Finally after lots of complaint from rapidshare users, rapidshare staff have roll RapidShare- Easy Filehosting_1236720971370out a security warning at premium login zone.

This is done in order to educate users to check the URL of website before entering their login info and password.

This is a nice approach from the rapidshare team to ensure the safety of rapidshare premium account and users.

If you are a rapidshare premium account user and wants to ensure your safety, make sure rapidshare will not ask to validate your account by Email.
