Payoneer Mobile App Experience – Why do Freelancers love it?

When it comes to receiving payment from foreign countries, there is only a handful of companies out there. I discovered about Payoneer service in 2009, and I have been a user since last 7 years. I have shared my thoughts about this service in my review of the Payoneer service.

After realizing how much money I can save when receiving money via Payoneer over PayPal, I now try to receive the majority of my affiliates & advertisement payments via them. ( I will share the difference & money I saved via this in future posts).

I’m on a quest to explore more about them & will keep sharing more learning & use cases with you in the coming days. For today, I will share about the free Payoneer mobile app that is available for both iOS & Android. In this post, I will share my experience with the app & if you are an existing user of Payoneer, you would love to have their mobile app.

For those who have never used Payoneer, it’s a service like PayPal which lets you receive payments from foreign countries (Learn more here). You can also use Payoneer to receive payment from various affiliate programs including Amazon affiliate program. Freelancers can send an invoice to their clients & your clients can pay via credit card.

What I like most about them are the minimum transaction fees that would save a lot of money in every transaction. In most of countries, they offer a Payoneer card that users can use as an ATM card or make payments online. Unfortunately for me & other Indian users, due to Indian government regulations, we can’t enjoy the benefits of the Payoneer Master card. For Indians, your received funds will be transferred into the bank account the next day.

For now, if you don’t have a Payoneer account, I recommend you to create one using link below. You will get the signup bonus of $50 (Guaranteed), which you will receive as soon as you finish your first $1000 transactions.

Now you know about a useful service for yourself, now it’s time to look at the review of their newly launched mobile app. It’s no brainer that mobile app is essential in today’s date & all progressive companies have one for all major mobile OS.

Payoneer mobile app features & review:

The payoneer mobile app gives access to your detailed transaction and payment history & is available in more than 18 languages. If you are an existing Payoneer user or just signed up, download the app for your smartphone from the below link:

Now login to your app using your Payoneer account login.  Once you are inside the app, the very first thing you would like to do is set up your language (If any other than English) & add 4 digital login codes for extra security.

Using the Payoneer mobile app, you can do all the activity that you could usually do on their web app.

Activities such as:

  • Check Payment requests status
  • Manage currencies
  • Make payment to recipients Payoneer account
  • Request a Payment
  • Withdraw funds to bank account

Using the Payoneer mobile app you can check your recent transactions or transactions in any time frame. I checked it for last year & it worked flawlessly.

  • Save

Further, you can click on any transactions from the list to see the details about it. Here are one example of transaction details from my app:

  • Save

The app also has more options like seeing your billing addressand you can also open a support ticket. Overall freelancers, affiliates, Digital marketers who travel a lot would make the most out of the Payoneer mobile app.

I would look forward to seeing more features in the coming days. For now, do try the app & let me know your views & experience with it. In the coming days, I will be sharing many interesting tricks & usage of the Payoneer web-service.

Do let us know how are you using Payoneer? How’s your experience & why do you prefer it over other services to receive payment?

Was this helpful?

Thanks for your feedback!

    Thanks for the cool idea to use Payoneer bro.. Seeing comments I have noticed that it is very much different than paypal. I have started using shareasale, CJ, click bank & was doubting about how my payments would reach my bank account, with payoneer I can rest assured.

      I’m using it for quite some time (When the resumed their service again in India) & I also met few of their company representative in summits. Payoneer is safe & authentic company. You can trust them 🙂

    Hi Harsh,

    I have been using paypal for a while now, I have few issues with paypal in the past, yet i solved them and using paypal till date. You haven’t mentioned anything about Payonner requirements?

    Cheers,
    kksilvery.

      @Kksilvery
      Payoneer requirement varies from country to country. I will do a separate post on Payoneer requirement & account creation in coming days. So far, I have had no issues with them & when I see their forum, it seems quite active. I believe you would get great customer support here; if ever required.

    Thank you so much for great article about Payoneer App service as i understood this is a financial services business that provides online money transfer and e-commerce payment services and Access Payoneer directly from our mobile device! Check your balance, view transactions, withdraw funds, and more. This is similar service as paypal or other payment gateway or it has something other special benefits ?

    1. Harsh Agrawal

      @Deepa
      Payoneer is very different than PayPal, though it offers few similar services. The major difference is; Payoneer offers you U.S. & E.U bank account number, which makes it easier for you to get paid. Moreover, their conversion fees is one of the best. If you are using any programs like CJ, ShareASale, Fiverr & can’t receive payment in ACH, take advantage of Payoneer. I had some issues with getting payment from Commission junction & finally Payoneer came into rescue. I would suggest having both the account (Payoneer & PayPal) as it would help you a lot today & in coming days. I will be sharing more guides in coming days to use Payoneer & then you would have a better understanding of why & when to use Payoneer.
