Few months back we talked about Orkut leading in the top social networking site in India. The good news for web masters, companies that Orkut is now open for advertiser.
Now you can display your advertisement on Orkut. Right now Orkut has two solution for advertisement, one is for big publishers and another one is for small publishers.
Like facebook, where you can select the target audience, with orkut advertising, you can select your target user on the basis of age, Interests and Gender.
I’m sure orkut is going to be big hub for the people who are looking for mass Indian group.
The placement of advertisement will be at top right, and I suppose this is going to have best CTR ratio.

I dont think its a good idea to place ads on orkut homepage. Rather than spending money there i would want to display ads on search pages.
my orkut profile also right side have ad.
Finally Orkut has done it.
The Indian Audience is still addicted to Orkut and it would be good for those who want to target the Domestic Audience.
