Last time when we published our article on How to set up office at home, we forget to mention about value of time management. I work as a professional blogger and most of my time I spend on various activities that includes Mind mapping, writing post, promoting my blog, Forums discussion and many more.

One thing which I learned with time is time management. Earlier when I used to start any discussion in forums, I forget about the time and some time I spend almost 4-5 hours a day there. No doubt Forums are good for blogs specially dofollow forums. Though it disrupt my other work and by the end of the day it become hectic for me to catch up with other online activity.

Later on I started using a technique called POMODORO Technique, this is basically a time management technique.

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method. For many of us time is an enemy. The anxiety triggered by the ticking clock and deadlines to be met leads to ineffective work and study habits and procrastination. The Pomodoro Technique transforms time into a valuable ally.

I realize the importance of this when I started working on it and later in it’s coming out to be very fruitful for me. I’m sure for all those who have a very strict time line, pro-bloggers and also people who blog along with work.

I use a free adobe air application to manage my time. I have created a list of work that I have to do every day and allotted a time

Here is the screenshot which will give you much better idea of working of this application.

adobe-air-countdown application

This application is name as Pomodairo and its very easy to use and manage. See the screenshot and you will realize how easy it is to add new task, start timer, clean a task and so on.

For this application you need to have Adobe Air runtime. Once adobe air runtime is installed in your system, Download the Countdown timer Pomodairo application from the link given at the bottom of the page and install it.

What time management technique do you use and what you do to keep your working hour more productive?

Yes, Making time sheet is good for time management. This is one of the most important thing for success. You can do double work in half time. And once you know how to do work. You need to replicate again and again.

Looks kinda interesting and cool at first glance but I think for me, this blogging app is like using a sledgehammer to squash an ant. My daily blogging tasks simply don’t need something other than my head to manage. Even an easy to use tool would be too much.
