Google team is constantly working to serve its users a quality and innovative products. The new feature comes out from the Gmail Lab box is drag and drop label feature. Now users can organize labels more conveniently.
If you don’t know about label, here i am giving a small description about Label: Label are just like folders, if you like any file and keep them in folder and when you want to open it you can easily access the file by the name of folder. But label is more than that, you can assign a label to certain email, also you can apply multiple labels to one email, making your email that much easier to find.
To activate the Labels
- Go to Settings > Select the Labels tab.
- In the textbox labeled, “Type a new label:” simply type your label and click Create.
Now you can create as many label as you want according to your need. Labels are very necessary to arrange your mail.
Gmail introduce a new addition in this lab feature by the use of which you can drag and drop messages into labels. And also you can drop your labels to message too.Labels will now be located in a new area on the Gmail interface, above chat list and flashed together with Inbox, Drafts, Spam,Chats and Sent mail labels.
Also, you can hide any label by dragging them into more menu and vice versa. This feature is most demanding feature from many users because this feature was already present in Outlook and Yahoo.

I saw this morning when I logged in, a nice little drop and drag feature that I have started using to the utmost now. I like it and am glad that Google are always coming up with new things. It also makes life easier for us users, more user-friendly
